But don’t look at the leader of the free world. The buck stop somewhere else

Politico is such a pack of whores:
Issa, chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, held a highly partisan hearing on the incident last week.

“With Republicans turning the Libya into a political issue, Democrats have countered that House GOP leaders actually sought to cut funding for embassy security, which Issa tried to refute.”
How many Democrats and their MSM lickspittles have been making this argument since the middle of September?
Pelosi, Reid, all their flunkies, I can’t remember them all. It was a standard talking point.
And all along they had 2.2 billion dollars. Romney should hammer Obama & Co. on this point. This is gross dereliction of their duty owed to State department employees.

The State Department has no problem building and repairing mosques all over the world and establishing a Muslim country in the Baltics. But they are afraid to offend the Muslim world by spending money to defend our embassies.

Issa claims the State Department will not spend the already approved funds because they didn't want to the appearance of needing increased security.
"The fact is, they [the State Department.] are making the decision not to put the security in because they don't want the presence of security," Issa said.

Rep. Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) says the State Department is sitting on $2.2 billion that should be spent on upgrading security at U.S. embassies and consulates worldwide,.... Gotta buy all them Chevy Volts and charging stations. Solar panels and pinwheels for the roofs.

PS And from an administration that has shown itself to be as `transparent’ as the Clinton administration was `ethical,’ this goes beyond their usual casuistry to misrepresentation, and not negligent but intentional misrepresentation. And misrepresentation—`fraud’—can be civil or criminal.
This is a major scandal. If it weren’t for the upcoming election and the cover they are getting from their media flunkies, Democrats would be resigning by now. They are in helmet defilade, and they should be.
