Elizabeth Warren’s lead over Scott Brown narrows to 2 points in WBUR poll
Boston Globe ^ | October 1, 2012 | Noah Bierman

As Senator Scott Brown and Elizabeth Warren prepare for their second debate tonight, a new poll shows Warren leading Brown by 2 percentage points — 46 percent to 44 percent, with 9 percent undecided in the hotly contested race.

The WBUR/Mass Inc. poll of 504 likely voters taken Sept. 26- Sept. 28 is the seventh of nine surveys taken in September to show Warren, a Democrat and Harvard Law School professor, with a small lead over Brown, a Republican. But the results are well within the poll’s margin of sampling error of plus or minus 4.4 percent.

The same polling group had Warren up by 5 percentage points in a poll taken two weeks earlier, from Sept. 15 through Sept. 17.

Warren’s lead goes up to 4 points in the newest poll from WBUR if the responses of so-called “leaners” are included. These are voters who initially say they are undecided, but express a preference when asked which way they are currently leaning.

The Globe released its own poll Sunday, which showed Warren leading 43-38, with 19 percent of those surveyed saying they remain undecided.

Reagan won big considering the alternative. Even people from MA weren’t that dumb. Now it’s a >close<??? race between the squaw and Scott???

“Massachusetts is the east coast anchor point for California”

I actually think Connecticut is worse.

The gun laws are more relaxed in CN than in MA.

I can't find the numbers but I heard money from within Mass is going towards Brown but money coming from out-of-state is supporting Warren in a high volume.

From what I read down here it’s like a one or two point difference favoring the squaw.

...okay, I was sad to see his obvious pandering to independents, but at least he’s not as FREAKY SCARY as Liahwatha...she scolds and nags and if we’d been drinking a shot every time she said “voting in lockstep”, we’d be blotto.

Yeah. From the article: "Basically, if Massachusetts Democrats, which outnumber Republicans 3 – 1, vote a straight party ticket, Brown will get the boot despite having done everything right in office but be a Democrat."
That is the shame of it all. So many really cannot be considered real American patriots. Constitutional minded as well as law abiding. Tis sad.

He makes me ill.

What makes me even more ill is the fact that I have to vote for him.

His open embrace of homosexuality and abortion make me feel sick to have to pull the lever for him.

This has been a real trial of my view of our form of government. I guess that old saying about how much it sucks is true, but it is the least suckiest one out there.

What a thoroughly unappealing candidate in every way. I’m surprised they let her be herself at the rat convention. Shudder.
