U.S. Homeland Security is preparing for an all-out American Spring rebellion and has bought 1.2 billion bullets for counterterrorist snipers.
---------------------
It is the type of ammunition and not necessarily the quantity that is troubling, James Smith Prepper Podcast was quoted as saying.
All of the sniper grade ammunition is being used by trained, or in-the-process-of-being-trained snipers, wrote Smith. Adding up the number of lethal bullets tallies a potential 135,384 kills for the snipers, based on U.S. Army and Marine figures from the Vietnam War, when soldiers used 1.3 rounds of ammunition for each verified kill.

We’re still maintaining little hardened buildings all over rural America built during WWI, known as “magazines”. The thought was to scatter the ammo and high explosives so it wouldn’t all go up at once. I’ve oftened wondered why they are still there, being constantly maintained and upgraded.
I know where several are within an hour’s drive of my house. Little, square, unmanned buildings whose missions have changed.
It’s the 176,000 rounds of 168 gr HPBT .308 that is sniper grade. Wrong quantity. Correct cartridge.
Remington 700 series.
Almost as good are the Savage bolt actions.
I’ve been wanting a .308 for a long time now. Maybe I’ll pick one up off the battlefield.
In the meantime, I’ve got my old $90 M91/30 Mosin Nagant in 7.62 x 54R that is quite proficient out to 200 yards with bare sights.
Wonder what that's for?

EVERYTHING'S FREE BUT US
You can bet the Rules Of Engagement will be a lot looser here than they are in Muzzie Land.
If the Government ever really went bankrupt.
Exactly who is it inside the US borders that the snipers are being trained to kill with the millions of rounds of ammo the government has purchased?
Weren't the Ruby Ridge and Waco lessons in government overreaction enough?
We already have far too many Gestapo style, Police State invasions of homes, shooting innocent people and their pets, and carrying on like terrorists and storm troopers right in their own communities.
Not illegal, for many reasons.
We didn’t sign the Geneva Convention, though do adhere as a matter of convention and deviate where appropriate.
JHP isn’t banned by the Convention, though is oft confused with “dum-dum” bullets which are.
BTHP (which these are) resemble JHP but differ in that the HP is a consequence of manufacture, not a deliberate design feature; this is excused.
For snipers, the ratio was 1.3; for general infantry, it was 25,000.
It’s not just the .40 cal. pistol ammo the DHS is purchasing 1.6 billion rounds of various calibers & types. This is in addition to the various govt. agencies that purchase their own ammo like the FBI ,IRS ,U.S. Marshal service.
The question is just who is the govt. planning on shooting?

Do you think that the folks in the press actually know the difference ? Or even care?
The govt is placing orders not just for bullets but complete cartridges of ammunition. The DHS has even gone so far to try & redact the paperwork for the orders from govt. web sites.
Thank you for your response.
This is all for mere academic purposes only All my other guns were lost in an airboat accident and Im afraid of gators..
Thank you for your response.
Of course, it's just a coincidence that hussein isn't going back home to Chicago in January. He's headed to Hawaii, as far from the mainland as he can get.
So, what are the five most used by Iranians? Remember, there is the story of Stevens or the ex-Seals with him were hunting down guns. Who’s to say hussein isn’t buying up this ammo to ship over to his muzzy brothers?
If this happens, talk about a self-fulfilling prophecy.
Like the mother who goes next door for a minute and tells her son, "Now, sweetie, don't put M & M's up your nose while I'm gone."
Leni
They're talking about the 200 Million rounds of .308 HPBT on order.
