Republican vice presidential candidate Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI)was not well received at a gathering held by the American Association of Retired Peoples on Friday. After Ryan said the first step to strengthening Medicare is to repeal President Barack Obamas Affordable Care Act, the crowd erupted into boos.
After promising to repeal Obamacare, the crowd jeered. I had a feeling there would be mixed reactions, said Ryan amid the chorus of booing.
It weakens Medicare for todays seniors and puts it at risk for the next generation, said Ryan to more booing.
You may not have heard this side of the story, said Ryan, after detailing the Medicare funds stripped in order to fund the ACA. The law turned Medicare into a piggybank for Obamacare.
You dont have to take my word for it, Ryan said. Ask the chief actuary for the center for Medicare and Medicaid services.

Why even do it?
Didn’t Obamacare remove that ‘doughnut hole’ in the Prescription Drug Plan? Well Ryan is goring their ox and threatening to remove an entitlement they’re enjoying. Why is anyone surprised that they would boo him for it?
I always send back any SASE with some anti-democrat rant and use the rest for kindling. I like getting fuel in the mail.
It’s good for loggers and my local postMadam’s job.
Include in the envelope some outdated sliced sandwich meat !
EVERY piece of mail that I get from AARP, I make sure that I send nonsense enclosures back to them in their prepaid envelopes.
I’m waiting for a piece of mail that has a beg from Obama for Money to come to me so I can return that to AARP.....
I’ve been pitching their commie crap in the garbage for years...
See #46.....
Anybody from AARP booing the repeal of 0bamacare is in the management of AARP (a far-left leaning group who have no interest in their members, but in their members dues and being able to push liberal ideas). They are no better than union executives. Most seniors want to repeal 0bamacare, largely because of what it does to Medicare and because most seniors have experience with life and liberals like 0bama.
That's true but it's just costing them money. If you ever receive return-postage-paid envelopes, just send them back with your comments and cost them or their affiliates more money.
If he can pull out a win he’ll definitely repeal it or at least some of it because that tax will star hitting people right in the middle of his presidency (2014).
That confirms that he is on the right path.
You’re doing it right, Paul.
The only ones who remain members are dumb ass liberals. AARP executives were all for obamacare because it’s going to make more seniors by AARP’s supplemental insurance. So, all those members are supporting a raise in their own insurance costs. That’s why I call them dumb ass liberals.
Maybe Ryan should list some of the more unsavory provisions and indicate that it will be reworked.
Now, now...under the current rules of the regime that could be misconstrued as a biological agent...!!!
A nice, color photo of your upraised Middle Finger would suffice nicely, though...maybe a nice self-taken “Moon Shot” too...
Why, the possibilities are endless!!
Don't forget that a large majority of seniors are against Obamacare as they are against the 0bamanation himself.
There is a video floating around out there in the ether about an AARP representative browbeating seniors who were against something AARP was about to do. This fat heifer who was from AARP talked to the seniors like they were children and actually got really mad they were contradicting her!...really egregious behavior.
It is largely the management and hierarchy of AARP that are flat out socialists and money grubbers. They are not better than the NEA Union teachers that have taken over your childrens’ minds in Government Schools.
But! It is also the millions of gullible and unstudious seniors who send them membership fees that promulgates this sh!t.
To me, the FIRST thing a dutiful and moral son or daughter could do for an aging senior parent is to keep them from giving this organization any money whatsoever.
Unfortunately, when I begin receiving medicare benefits and was in need of Prescription benefits coverage, I was told that I had to take AARP in order for that coverage. I was told by my agent, that the supplement to Medicare is AARP only. Apparently, the AARP has the market sewn up. There is no other company out there. If anyone knows of a lower cost alternative, we’d love to hear about it. We HATE the AARP. Unfortunately, with the ever rising costs of medication, it’s the only one I can afford right now.

I guess Mediaite just got the short clip from CSPAN to tease us with.
