Ann Romney says fellow Republicans whove criticized her husband need to stop it and realize how lucky the party is to have Mitt Romney as its nominee. Ann Romney spoke late this afternoon to about 200 people, mostly women, whod gathered for a rally in the store room of a central Iowa furniture business.

With all due respect Mrs Romney there would have been better candidates in the ring, real conservatives, if your husband had not politically assassinated them for 4 years
just sayin
I understand your frustration...but I think we must circle the wagons when it comes to Romney. He has the media and Dems dumping on him every day, so why should we add to that? The last thing we need is to project mutiny or any type of agreement with the ‘other side’......they NEVER do that to their own. I just think its time to support our candidate, as the alternative is marxism.
Breelliant!!!
Mrs. Romney, Please ask your husband to assail Barry with at least half of the energy he did against his “own” party during the Primary!
We are not “lucky” to have your husband as the nominee. If we had a half-decent candidate he/she would be consistently and decisively leading ....
I was a Newt supporter. I think we would have been ‘lucky ‘to have Newt as our candidate.
And I am thrilled that Newt is taking a leading role to help Akin. The Gop-e can kma. They should be ashamed of how they’ve handled the so called Akin controversy. Bunch of yellow bellied pukes.
This is the last hurrah of the GOP-e, and they know it. If their annointed “moderate” can’t win this time, they should be thoroughly discredited. In fact, this could be the swan-song of the Republican Party as conservatives organize their own party. Whether conservatives can actually agree long enough to plan a course of action is the big question.
Control of the GOP may be mute, however, after four more years of Marxism in the White House that will transform America into France.
“Mrs. Romney, Please ask your husband to assail Barry with at least half of the energy he did against his own party during the Primary!”
Yes, Mrs. Romney, please do.
I agree. However, for the time being it would be helpful if sell-outs like Bill Kristol, Peggy Noonan, David Brooks, et al. would just keep their friggin’ mouths shut.
just where is Republican leadership in this race..MIA?
I agree. However, for the time being it would be helpful if sell-outs like Bill Kristol, Peggy Noonan, David Brooks, et al. would just keep their friggin’ mouths shut.
“moot” not “mute”, though when we are discussing Karl Rove, “mute” would be nice, too...
Yeah, that’ll fire up the base. /s
I can tell by your posts most of you would prefer another 4 years of Obama
If Mitt could take them out and they couldn’t take Mitt out, they were not better.
Your husband and his operatives in Tampa changed the rules on Electors and we no longer can do anything but give you money and blind support... our voices are no longer represented. You husband will win this election because obama is just that bad... but do not invite Conservatives to a party where you have hired Blackwater to keep us out... savvy.
LLS
Horse hockey. Any good candidate can stand on their own 2 feet.
They can withstand a Mittens attack.
Better candidates didn't come forward; because they didn't come forward.
Rove is a dreadful little man. But he controls a lot of money. I wish that filled me w/ confidence.
Are you kidding, those conservative reporters are paid good money to trash Republicans. If they championed Repubs like the libs do they would be out of work in a month.
Pray for America
Soooo I am interested to hear your best case scenario from today forward. Not wishing we had a different R. candidate (Mitt was not even one of my top 3 choices).... but if you say "We won't stop".... what do you expect to accomplish?
