If they want to behave like democrats I'll treat them like democrats. They can KMA
The Michigan Republican Party (MRP) Credentials Committee voted 4-2 last night to give Mitt Romney both of the state's at-large delegates, State Policy Committee Chair Mike Cox told MIRS today.
Cox was one of two "no" votes on the committee which met via telephone, along with attorney Eric Doster The "yes" votes included GOP National Committeeman Saul Anuzis, a Romney supporter, and MRP Chair Bobby Schostak.
That would put the delegate split at 16 for Romney and 14 for Rick Santorum, after each candidate won 14 delegates apiece in those divided by Michigan's 14 congressional districts.
As MIRS first reported on Wednesday, the MRP was delaying a final decision on the delegate split until after consulting with attorneys.
Cox said that according to the MRP rules, Santorum and Romney should each get one of Michigan's two at-large delegates based on their take of the popular vote.
"I supported Mitt, but the vote was clearly wrong," Cox said of the Credentials Committee. "It's kind of like Third World voting. We published rules and then we voted to change the rules."

I can tell by your posts most of you would prefer another 4 years of Obama Absolutely! After the events of the last week, you'd think that sentiment would be toned down but, I guess there will always be some on this site that prefer a leader who sends our troops into battle with no ammo and the enemy for protection!
Just astounding...

Ah, I predict it’ll happen within weeks. It’s not a race of Dems v GOP. OB is running with the label Dem but he is not one.
If we are so fortunate as to get him out, we have much work to do with the entire GOPe as they had ushered this man in and have paved the path for much that he has done.
If we don’t remove him from the WH, we won’t recognize th US within a very short time.
This man is not like the Clintons, ruining things piece by piece, ushering the way for his kind. He’s not better nor worse, he’s just not them. He’ll ruin everything without remorse and without looking back and in very short order. His wife won’t stop him, nor will his handlers, nor will the republicans, certainly not his voters/supporters who will be under the bus on November 7th.
The media will be shell shocked.
We’re busy promoting “2016”, and that’s good. But geeze, doesn’t anyone know Shakespeare?

She is correct. Especially the panty waisted types like Crystal and Noonan and any other pundit who loves the sound of their own words, and those words are fodder for the democrat noise makers. This is a serious election and all we hear from Obama’s cheerleaders is fluff and distraction.
Romney wasn’t my first choice but he will be infinitely better than what is in office now. I just hope he cleans house at all levels because we need a reset after this bunch. I hope he does.

One thing that I love about our family of Conservatives here... we state the truth about our own candidates as well as the truth about our enemies. Conservatism at its cornerstone... the truth. ALWAYS embrace the truth. To do otherwise... is to be a democrat.

there would have been better candidates in the ring, real conservatives, if your husband had not politically assassinated them for 4 yearsB.S. Please elaborate on WHO Romney spent the past 4 years preventing from running?? You sound like a Ron Paul conspiracy theorist .
There was plenty of room for other candidates to run, but we got the crappiest group of misfits that have ever run for President in my lifetime. Some people just can't seem to deal with it.

I think they’re just hammering him because he’s not talking Obama with any real passion when he has more ammo to use against the worst President in history. If he would act like a fighter And act like he really wants to win they’d get behind him. Still I’m voting for Romney because we can’t afford to lose our country because of the current Manchurian Candidate that’s tearing our nation part from the inside out. Anyone that doesn’t vote is casting one for the AntiChrist in office.

We don't have decent Conservatives willing to run for President. This is what we were dealt, it's Obama or Romney.
Now get over it!

She should have told her husband and her husband's supporters to "stop it" back in 2008 when they were stabbing Palin in the back and sabotaging the McCain/Palin ticket. We haven't forgotten.

Just an observation here, it seems to me that all the Romney naysayers here (and elsewhere) sound like bitter ex-wives...
you know the type, they lose the husband and regardless of what he goes on to do, they stalk and trash him to the end!
They are taking this way too personal, it’s not about any ONE of us, it’s about ALL of us and our families, children, grandchildren etc ect
My Lord people, the man is not a savior for goodness sake, but he is most definately an AMERICAN who loves our way of life and won’t sell us out to the flipping muslims pushing for their tired old caliphate!

I understand your frustration...but I think we must circle the wagons when it comes to Romney. He has the media and Dems dumping on him every day, so why should we add to that? The last thing we need is to project mutiny or any type of agreement with the other side......they NEVER do that to their own. I just think its time to support our candidate, as the alternative is marxism.
I agree. There's lots of time till after election day to say bad things of Romney.

Of course we don’t want another four years of Obama, but many of us here who do want Romney to win, think so far he’s run a pretty lousy campaign.

“If we had a half-decent candidate he/she would be consistently and decisively leading the Emperor with no Clothes.”
That argument ended MONTHS ago. The primaries are well over. We’re in the general election now, 7 weeks out, in fact. So worry about the ‘16 or ‘20 primaries down the road. For today, for this election, it’s Mitt or Obama. Deal with what is, not what you’d like it to be.

Ann Romney’s comment is really appropriate for you. What can we say about other candidates in the primaries if the winner is not even —in your words— a half decent candidate?
