No matter what Mitt Romney wanted this week to be about, it's clear that it's going to be about one thing: A campaign that is off message and in disarray.
The series of stories Monday morning that laid bare latent tensions within the Romney campaign, and in particular, displeasure with the one of the GOP candidate's trusted advisers, Stuart Stevens, turnout out to be just the beginning.
But it was the late-day hidden camera dump by Mother Jones' David Corn and video researcher James Carter that turned out to be the day's real atomic bomb. The leaked videos showed a series of candid moments from a May Romney fundraiser at which the presidential candidate said, among other things, that no matter what" he does, 47 percent of the population is going to vote for Obama because they are "are dependent upon government, who believe that they are victims, who believe the government has a responsibility to care for them, who believe that they are entitled to health care, to food, to housing, to you-name-it."
In the video, Romney is also shown saying, "My job is not to worry about those people. I'll never convince them they should take personal responsibility and care for their lives."
Even so, voters are clearly waiting for the debates to make a final judgment on Romney. At least that was the take away from a focus group of suburban swing voters from Northern Virginia voters conducted last night in Fairfax, Virginia by Peter Hart for the Annenberg Public Policy Center at the University of Pennsylvania.

MSM is doing a coordinated story every couple of days to attack Romney. “Campaign infighting / disarray.” Now it’s the leaked video which is old but serves the purpose — get Mitt reacting instead of attacking and keep people distracted from Obama’s failed Presidency.
Of course, to do this requires a completely complicit media.
On September 12, about 30 minutes after Obama sleepwalked through his prepared-but-somehow-still-wandering-and-incomplete, Ann Compton breathlessly described to millions of ABC Radio listeners how Obama had “in sorrow and anger” condemned the attack.
If Obama shot a Girl scout in the head, ABC would say she died as a complication of a procedure to remove lice and would have lived if Obamacare had been fully implemented already. If Romney saved a Girl scout from drowning and walked on water to get to her, ABC would open their broadcast with a story about how Romney’s dirty shoes pollute our waterways.
Come in over the Mexican border. Then you’ll get automatic voting rights.
There is a giant picture of Romney on the cover of the liberal Pittsburgh, PA paper here. On my Facebook page, many of my liberal friends are going ballistic over these Romney comments. I HOPE this (and the Palestinian comments) helps Romney as much as I think it will.

Glad to see you're re-thinking that, but if you remember what you learned in third grade you would realize that in a two party system any failure to vote for the least undesirable candidate is mathematically equivalent to a vote for the most undesirable candidate.
