The latest mandate handed down from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is so ridiculous, even I was shocked. The EPA has now mandated how much gasoline you must buy at certain gas stations. Say hello to the Obama Administrations four gallon minimum.

What Romney should now go after are the reasons why those on fixed incomes have to go on food stamps and other benefits such as energy assistance etc.
The price of food, the cost of energy, driven up by regulations and prohibitions designed to change the systems of distribution and use of resources to conform to a socialist ideal.
What if you can’t afford 4 gallons of gas? I’ve been there and still am.
Otherwise known as the lawnmower ban.
Back to the old push mowers.
Once the pump starts, it won't stop until the 0bama-mandated minimum has been ejected.
Bump
“How are you supposed to buy a gallon for your lawn mower”
I guess you’d have to pump that four gallons into your one gallon can. Not your fault it wouln’t all fit in the can. You were only following the law.
Kinda expensive though.
At current local prices, that’s about $15.
So, if I only have $10 I can’t buy any gasoline?
These people are beyond stupid............
“How are you supposed to buy a gallon for your lawn mower, or if you have to walk to a station because youre out of gas?”
That’s simple.
You simply buy the commonly available E10 fuel and you can buy as little as you need.
They’ll find a way.
IF it’s real it’s because Obama anticipate gas shortages and doesn’t want people ‘topping off’ gas tanks. Could be one more hint of bad things to come if Obama is re-elected.
Once gasoline hits $40 a gallon, it won’t be a problem...............................
On the bright side; it takes about four gallons of gas to burn a corpse, man.
Obama and the EPA figure it as tough sh*t, you and your damned older and little engines are a nuisance. The faster they burn out the better so it will be quicker for Joe and Jane Citizen to find another way to get around.
We had better wise up and quick. If the voters retain Obama and his diabolical machine they truly deserve the mess that is in store. .
Let them try.
“My motorcycle does not have a four gallon tank! I guess I will have to pour most of the gas on the concrete.....”
You may want to consider not putting E15 or E20 Fuel into your motorcycle’s gas tank and stick with the E10 that will still be available with no minimum purchase.
Not if there's a liberal getting gas next to you.
Obama's Four Gallons of Gas Minimum Mandate
By Rep. Jim Sensenbrenner (R-Wis.), Special to The Hill
The latest mandate handed down from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is so ridiculous, even I was shocked. The EPA has now mandated how much gasoline you must buy at certain gas stations. Say hello to the Obama Administrations four gallon minimum.
This unprecedented EPA overreach applies when filling up at a gas station that provides both E15 and E10, gasoline with 15 or 10 percent of ethanol, respectively, from the same hose.
At the insistence of the ethanol industry, the Obama Administration is pushing E15 into the marketplace, regardless of the serious concerns about the fuels impact on drivers. From its inception, E15 is a study in the consequences of government interference in the marketplace. The EPAs decision to set a minimum purchase requirement is just the most recent example.
-snip-
The EPA approved E15 for sale in the U.S. using a partial waiver, meaning it is only approved for some vehicles on the road cars 2001 and later.

No half gallon for my lawnmower?
The purpose of this ruling is supposedly to prevent people from pumping gas with ethanol into small engines, motorcycles, scooters, etc. because the ethanol can harm those engines.
The reasoning is that these machines have tanks with a capacity of less than 4 gallons, so this law will force people to fuel them at non-ethanol gas pumps which are not subject to the 4 gallon minimum requirement.
But, like other bright government ideas thought up by bureaucrats sitting in cubicle farms, they never seem to see the unintended consequences.
Example: The bureaucrats seem to think that gas stations offer both types of gasoline in pumps side by side. But in my area there are no longer any regular gas stations selling pure gas without ethanol. Supposedly the pure gas is available at marinas, airports, etc. but what help is that to the average driver or homeowner? Or the guy who ran out of gas and only has a two gallon gas can?
