TOPEKA The State Objections Board brought the issue of President Barack Obamas eligibility to be on Kansas ballots to a swift end Monday morning.
After accepting several records related to Obamas birth in Hawaii, Mark Dugan, Lt. Gov. Jeff Colyers chief of staff, moved to overrule the objection and close the boards meeting.
The boards unanimous vote brings an end to an objection raised by Manhattan resident Joe Montgomery, who said Obama shouldnt be on Kansas ballots and isnt qualified to be president because his parents were not both born in the United States.

When you are born on US soil you are an American citizen. Saying Obama was not born here is arguable so that should be the sole basis of the argument, not where your parents were born.
This is great news; it would be terrible if the liberal people in Sebelius’ KS didn’t have the Obama option for November 6. They would be downright onery.
KS also had pretty hard-core liberal Republican senators for many years in James Pearson, Frank Carlson, and Nancy Kassebaum Baker. Dole really was “conservative” by KS standards..
Might not be in a talkative mood these days.
Here’s another one.

Lawsuit filed to get Obama off Vermont ballot over birth eligibility
Followed the case. Responded to the original post not the case.
Nobody is going to stick their neck out. Nobody wants to endure the crap they would get from actually deliberating this.
Sounds to me like Kobach is saying he’s convinced that the WH image matches the certified copy that Hawaii sent Obama. But like you say, the word “convinced” means that he’s not coming right out and saying it. He’s saying that he believes it matches, not that he’s been told it matches. So if he’s been told something, it’s something besides a direct statement that it matches. Like maybe a statement that the INFORMATION CONTAINED IN THE RECORD matches. Which is exactly what MDEC was told and it doesn’t mean a thing whether the claims match since the genuine record is not legally valid - all of which has already been pointed out to both Kobach and Schmidt.
I’m sure you are quite correct but I was under the impression that these people were PAID as part of their JOBS to endure this crap.
But then again when you’ve got Thief Justice - It’s not my job - Roberts as a role model, I guess this to be expected in the NEW AMERICA.
And with the Real unemployment rate clocking in at 22.5% I bet there are many people out there that would love to get PAID to do the job.
Maybe some of these people should resign if they don’t want to fulfill their obligations.
This may be a bit of journalistic malfeasance.
Those familiar with the facts know, Romney’s father was a naturalized US citizen, and Barry’s father-of-record was a Kenyan and British subject.
Read the last sentence of the original post and maybe it will become clearer.
So you lied when you said that you’ve been following the case?
I've heard aerosolized scopolamine is very effective in persuading people to do what they are told.
>>Not to be cynical, but will Kansas get a fast-tracked nuclear reactor or other goodies from the feds now?
>>No, but Obama has a snowball’s chance of taking the state anyway.
Probably true. It’s highly unlikely that he could take the state, so it’s unlikely to have any effect on the election. But that is not an excuse for failure to uphold the law.
When did we stop caring about truth and only cared about the end result? (not a dig on DR, who is just trying to find the pony in this pile)
More likely be branded as racist and have the IRS do an anal probe of all tax returns for the last 10 years.
Thanks for the link, very scary.
“The House on 92nd St.”, “The Fallen Sparrow”, and “Kiss Me Deadly” show it being used by the bad guys.
No. Again, I was commenting on this individual post, not the case. Since this is your second off-topic and nasty comment, either you’re a tad slow, or incapable of following logic. There is a third possibility, as well, I suppose, but that is less complimentary.
