"The Odd Couple" gets a 2012 makeover with a pair of gay-straight best friends and a familiar cast -- courtesy of the team behind "Will & Grace."
1. It has the magic time slot! Before you get bogged down with silly elements like the "story" or the "cast," just know that CBS likes it enough to put it on at 8:30 p.m. on a Monday.
2. Make that business partners. There's a barrage of gay-related series heading to the broadcast networks this fall...

Thankfully, I have not had a TV in years. If I watched it for an evening, I'd probably die of a heart attack. Kids are best raised in a TV free house.
They should just release a show called “The Anus Bunch” and stop the incremental cr@p. That’s where they’re headed anyway.
They also have some show out called, “The New Normal”. It’s anything but of course. I don’t give these shows my viewership. Why is it sitcoms have to have gay themes or be filled with sex and sex jokes? It’s as though they can’t write humor in the entertainment world without crudeness and crassness. Check out many “comedy” movies today. It shows a debased society and intellectual laziness.
I hope so.
Monday night at my Italian club means NCIS (yes, we watch Abby)on USA and Monday Night Football.
I never watch the network crap. Except for Blue Bloods, we have watched that a few times.
I’ve seen some of the commercials for this “show”. It looks dreadful. We’ve been buying a lot of movies on DVD during the past couple of years. We usually watch Food Network or a movie over a period of days. Right now, we’re watching “Dirty Harry”. My husband recently bought “High Noon” and a bunch of other movies, mostly from years and years ago.
The only time I had a TV during my adult life was during the Clinton impeachment hearings. I think if I watched what’s on now, seriously I’d have a heart attack. I know there are some good things on (somewhere?) - there isn’t even any cable out here. And I learn everything I need to know about news on FR... (ALready it’s too much).
The homos will be watching, and they will thimply jump for joy at the simulated fisting scenes.
And homeless pedophiles washing up in the bathrooms after using the library computers to watch porn.
No thanks.
