There are reports that we had been tipped off about the plan for the Embassy attacks 48 hours in advance.

There was speculation by some that Obama intentionally sent our Ambassador to Libya back to Libya with full knowledge that this was going to be the outcome to create some type of crisis that Obama could use to his political advantage.

I though that was a crazy, fever swamp, tin foil hat conspiracy theory. Now I am not so sure they were not at least partially correct given the Presidents actions and conduct in his response to the events over the last few days.

American Embassies have been attacked all over the world in what appears to a pre planned, coordinated effort by well armed and trained people and a full fledged American Ambassador has been murdered, our Embassy compounds sacked and burned, and in Libya, secret and sensitive Diplomatic and CIA records were stolen.

We have just been hit with multiple acts of war against the US, with evidence of local Government involvement with the attacks in at least several countries, and potentially one of the biggest and most damaging intelligence leaks in US history with the theft of presumably all of our Diplomatic files in Libya and this is Obama’s Response?

We are so screwed, probably more so than we can imagine just now.

I am afraid that we will soon begin to become aware of just how badly we have been screwed as events unfold in the near future.

I meant it was hideously inappropriate for Obama to be "capitalizing" on the deaths of these men. (I should have finished my thoughts better.) One wonders if he'd ever lay down his life for his friends. And he doesn't do "mourn" well either, although, like you said he couldn't resist.

I think that was a predetermined mindset to see it the way you and some other Freepers did. It was a solemn, military reception with proper music for our men with a story of their lives and the families were there for it. The President and Secretary of State were proper to be there to speak about these men.

Most people were at work and didn't see this. I hope they can see a rerun of it. The men were the center of the service, the President and Secretary of State were not.
