First Lady Michelle Obamas pitch to voters last night relied on the premise that she and her husband understand what it is to struggle to make ends meet. She spoke movingly about their early years--about how a young Barack Obama drove a car that was rusted out" and found his furniture in a dumpster, how they both came from families that had to scrape by. Her fairy tale--however well-delivered--was one great, big, colorful lie.

But some interesting factoids in the article. No wonder Moochelle thinks everyone is better off now, too.
Romney is the worst person the GOP could run
“Schtruggle” (tm)
Limosine Liberals.
Then, from the article we read that:
They had expensive tastes, reflected in the $277,500 two-bedroom condo they bought in 1993--a high price even by todays standards.
Don't every set of poor newlyweds jump out and buy a $277,500 condo about 3+ months after they get married?
I hear the German edition of Moochelle’s book will be called, “Mein Kampf”.
No matter who we run, he/she is demonized and ridiculed. It matters nothing. We ran a war hero who was tortured in a Vietnam prison for how many years, and exactly how much did that matter? Granted McCain was a Rhino and certainly no Reagan, but didn’t he qualify for at least a modicum of respect from those idiots?
This creep prez, he gives away our money to the huge growing festering freeloading class, and HE is the hero! He is a hero because he has a tax man collect OUR money and he signs the order to distribute it.
You’re right. I didn’t know the chronology of Michelle’s stratospheric salary hike, nor of the position after she left, nor of her job description!
Appalling.
Media blackout to this day. And all this after that load she composed whole cloth at the communist convention.
Repeat a lie often enough and it become the truth...proof of that is right here. Of course it helps if half of the equation is intentionally kept under the cone of silence.
don’t you mean... “shhtruggle”?
I confess that drives me slightly nuts. Is it regional?
I think so. Rush Limbaugh was having a field day with it the day after her speech. She was also “clippin’” the words...you know....’cause there were a lot of her “peeps” there.
well I think a fair number of blogs and others do read Breitbart, and I found this linked to Vicki McKenna’s FB page, and she runs a couple of conservative talk shows daily on four Wisconsin radio stations. Granted it’ll never be on MSNBC but I think the word is getting out there. Just like more people have seen “2016” than three of Mickey Moore’s so-called documentaries already...
Moo forgot to mention how she did her schoolwork on the back of a broken handled shovel, using a piece of burnt wood to write with.
This was in the old, drafty, windowless, slave cabin she grew up in. The one with the leaky roof and no door.
She had to walk several miles to school and back and it was uphill both ways.
The family only had one pair of shoes so in the winter Moo and her brother shared them.
She would wear the left shoe and he would wear the right shoe.
They would lean on each other, holding the bare foot in the air and hip-hopping on their way.
Later on in life Moo told the story of her deprived upbringing to some entertainers she met and it gave them the idea for the name of the new music they had invented - “Hip-Hop”.
I went to your “source” link.
Upon scrolling down, the question was posed as to how “Young was Barck Obama when he married?”
The answer was stated as: “between 30 years and 5 months and 31 years and 4 months old”.
My question is how come the date RANGE given for the age? If we know his birth date (August 1961) and we know his wedding date (October 3, 1992) why is his age stated as a RANGE? That answer seems really odd. It seems to me that his age would be 31 years and 4 months. Is there another birth date floating around out there for him?
It reminds me of the “creaky” voice. Women heard it on TV, and it became a fad.
Thank goodness it appears to be on the way out.
Naaah. Democrap women still use it on the stump. LOL!
Shrill, shrill, shrill! Like nails down a blackboard to me.
Depends which birth certificate you want to use ;-P
It’s awful. :)
The editor of the Harvard Law Review, and a minority at that, pleading poverty? Barbara Streisand! His “poverty” was a deliberate, calculated choice. There’s something obscene about their touting this simpatico beginning.
