And the Un-Masking of Mitt Romney, the lying, left-wing, Progressive Liberal, continues . . . |

"If we must have an enemy at the head of Government, let it be one whom we can oppose, and for whom we are not responsible, who will not involve our party in the disgrace of his foolish and bad measures." - Alexander Hamilton |
|
"We don't intend to turn the Republican Party over to the traitors in the battle just ended. We will have no more of those candidates who are pledged to the same goals as our opposition and who seek our support. Turning the Party over to the so-called moderates wouldnt make any sense at all." -- President Ronald Reagan |
|
"A thing moderately good is not so good as it ought to be. Moderation in temper is always a virtue; but moderation in principle is always a vice." - Thomas Paine 1792 |
|
"It does not take a majority to prevail, but rather an irate, tireless minority, keen on setting brushfires of freedom in the minds of men." - Samuel Adams |
|
"If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen." - Samuel Adams |

I’m surprised that anyone would be surprised by this.

For those of you who still care about conservatism, more proof of the perfidy of Mitt Romney and what we have been warning people all along.

In the Piece Of Legislation That Had To Be Read After It Was Passed, there were a few sane-ish things such as allowing insurance to be shopped across state lines. That’s what Mitt is talking about here. This is also almost certainly going to get put in a new bill. The Gordian Knot we got needs to be not just cut but burned.

And the Un-Masking of Mitt Romney, the lying, left-wing, Progressive Liberal, continues . . . A lot of conservatives, and not-so-conservative ABO voters are going to get a face full of ice water right after inauguration day when Romney refuses to undo most of Obama's executive orders, and actually enforces them just the same.
And I can see him eventually upholding ALL of Obamacare. After all, he was the inspiration for it.

I loathe Rombag but I fear for our country infinitely more if DBA 0bama is re-elected. Therefore I am voting for Rombag as it will buy us time to get Constitutional minded people in fed and state office.

He is also not going to restrict abortion or stop funding it or remove gays from the military or anything else. He is not a conservative.
Are we supposed to be surprised? and shouldn’t he wait until after the elections or was this a planned implosion?

Maybe so, but Romney, through his surrogates, and his implied statements, has made it quite clear that he intends to enforce the Individual Mandate, and he is quite comfortable with ALL of his monstrosity called RomneyCare.
Make all the excuses you want for Romney and his penchant for Socialized Medicine, but he has not changed and you are backing a Progressive Liberal and pretending he is not.

I will vote for a three legged one eyed jack russell terrier before I vote for Obama. Amen!
If elected, if Obamaamy lets the votes be counted, the search for the replacement starts.

Wow!
So in your rarefied world, which news source is reliable?
Are we left just with what Romney, a certifiable liar has to say, and his staff?

Oh no doubt. Even if there are those of us who cannot vote for this guy in good conscious, at least he doesn’t seem like he would relish destroying his own country. And with Mittens I am pretty sure that is this one.

Are you going to sulk in a corner when Mitt fails to bear out your fears? I would be hilariously happy to be proven wrong.
But I think that even I am underestimating the peril of electing Mitt.

Please do find the documentation that says Mitt has no intention of granting Obamacare waivers to all states as promised, which of course would moot this individual mandate that you are waving as a bloody shirt.
Mitt has said he thinks state-passed Romneycare is grand for Massachusetts. How you can blow that up into a claim like yours is a puzzle for the ages.

Those issues you mention are all cultural and not under federal authority according to the Constitution (abortion has some footing in the Declaration of Independence, at least). We strict-constructionists are a tiny minority...more’s the pity.
