Guess John Harwood was feeling lucky today. CNBC's chief Washington correspondent went on the Today show and boldly proclaimed that not only did Clint Eastwood not accomplish his mission with his RNC speech, but that the speech is almost universally viewed by political professionals as "a big blunder, a big set-back for Mitt Romney."
Harwood did not adduce a scintilla of evidence in support of his contention that the speech hurt Romney. And his universe of pundits apparently does not include people like Jonah Goldberg or Mark Steyn.

Liberals consider themselves the ultimate arbiter of what is hip. They are the trend setters and they and only they can say when you have "it" and when you don't.
But when a megawatt celebrity like Eastwood turns the table on them, they look very irrelevant by comparison.
John Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Harwood roams clueless in the rat maze.
Liberals are cowardly animals, usually preying on the weak and defenseless, striking out only when cornered.
Hardwood is such a creature, striking out when feeling threatened.
Eastwood has broken the bubble of ridicule that surrounds Obama, throwing his Alinsky rules right back at him.
The “palace guards” (media) is doing all they can to protect the “emperor”, but one you lose your grip, you’re going to slide on down that hill.
Thanks Clint, you’ve opened the door for Obama to leave through when we “let him go” in November.
Seems like Mr. Eastwood accomplished his purpose, right John?

Of course it was a big blunder.

That is why the Media/Dems are still talking about it over a week later.
The only thing they have to talk about from the Dem Convention was the speech by former President and Impeached BJ Clinton.
The only people that I saw have a hissy fit over Eastwood was MSNBC. They really blew their top and that acted koo kOO over the whole thing.
Having watched only snippets of both conventions, as I suspect most folks did, no one sat through it all. I came away with only two standout (message) moments to easily recall,
1) I now equate our current president as an empty chair and can easily accept that analogy without having ever thought about it before, it rings true without requiring much convincing, even to a causal observer,
2) The other message is the DNC leaders ‘booed’ God and hate Jerusalem unless allah rules over it,
So who was it that really ‘blundered’ in getting their message heard, the RNC or DNC?
I love the picture going around the Internet showing a military helicopter with our heroes looking down at an empty chair dangling from the chopper. LOL
Wow, he really got under their skin. Bravo, Clint!
bulls eye!
liberals only squeal when you hit them dead on.
Clint mocked obama as the nobody twerp communist that he is, and fired him. Thin skin obma is seething.
That sums it up well. I’m looking for a landslide come Nov. 6...
The elites truly believe that their arrogance and self-serving opinions trump reality.
Translation: He hit a bullseye!
Pray for America
Clint seems to be very much alive and living in Harwood’s head. If it was such a blunder, he would have kept his mouth shut and let it go away.
Just proves that all lefties lie when they speak.
there you go...
Does anybody remember when Harwood went begging and crying to his Network not to publish the stories of his “Boinking” WA Dem. Senator Maria Cantwell?
What was so sweet about Clint Eastwoods’ performance is that he did indeed turn Alinsky’s rules against Obama for the first time. He ridiculed Obama in front of a national audience - something that up until then had not been done. The liberal DNC mouthpieces are to stupid to understand Clint’s approach. He ACTED the entire thing - secure in the knowledge that real Americans would understand what he was doing, but that the MSM would not and would go berserk. It was brilliant!
