In just three short minutes, Democrats handed the 2012 election to Republican Mitt Romney.
In a surreal floor vote at the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte, N.C., at 5:04 p.m., long before prime-time viewers flipped on their TVs, delegates split hard on whether to include a simple mention of God in their platform, and to declare that Jerusalem is the capital of Israel.
Awkward, embarrassing, stupid, unforced error, said Democrat Paul Begala. That doesnt even begin to capture what will be a game-changing event in the presidential election.
With no advance warning and no fanfare, Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, a rising star in the party, took to the podium. He gave the floor to the head of the platform-drafting committee, former Ohio Gov. Ted Strickland.
As an ordained United Methodist minister, I am here to attest and affirm that our faith and belief in God is central to the American story and informs the value we have expressed in our partys platform, he said. In addition, President Obama recognizes Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, and our partys platform should as well.
Well. The delegates voted by yelling yay or no.
Spotlight Mr. Villaraigosa. In the opinion of the chair let me do that again.
He did. Another vote, half yay, half no.
I, uh, I guess said the by-now formerly rising party star, turning for help.
An unknown woman sidled up and told him, You just gotta let them vote, and let them do what theyre gonna do.
Finally, in vote 3, the nos clearly won, but the teleprompter said otherwise and the motion was deemed passed: God and Jerusalem as the capital of Israel were back in the party platform.

Sure... Like maybe replace God with Allah? The two muzzies would've cheered their azzes off for that, I wager.
The booing can be written off to booing the fact that the delegates were railroaded by the process.
The vocal “no” vote on God and Jerusalem cannot be so innocently explained. We should focus on the vocal no’s ... not the boos.

I suspect you're right. There were an awful lot of 'em in that audience!
Found it Leni..Had put it on facebook page.
THE DONKEY POKEY
You put the Lord’s name in
You take the Lord’s name out
You put the Lord’s name in
Then give an angry shout
You do the Donkey Pokey
While you kick the Lord around
That’s what it’s all about !

For some reason, that thread has been pulled.
That was an eerie recapitulation of the ‘cock crowing three times,’ wasn’t it?
We do not need the MSM. Over 40 million people saw this bit of news on DRUDGE 3 days running. That’s 120 million people.
This assumption that Romney has it in the bag is getting annoying.
This is still Obama’s election to lose....and I don’t see him losing.
It was an online poll from SeeBS which showed a large negative impact to the Won. It was pulled by SeeBS and FR will pull it too if the source cannot be verified.
Don't know where you are getting your information, but the massive oversampling of Democrats to make the polls even LOOK close, and the moves by Obama's team that smack of pure desperation, tell a different story.

When you’re getting that bad a review from a Democrat ideologue, you know you’re screwed.
Overall, they’d have been better off not removing the language. Honesty is typically not the best policy when you’re ass-backward.
Strategically, once the SHTF, they’d have been better off leaving the language out, and taking a beating from Romney. Putting God to a floor vote from their degenerate delegates was a HUGE mistake ... the latest in a long line. “You didn’t build that”. Chick-Fil-A. Voting ‘no’ on God and Jerusalem — three times. “They want you in chains”. You didn’t fill that. Their campaign has become an unbroken chain of missteps ... and their record still sucks.
It is one thing when your opponent says your platform is out of touch with American values ... it is quite another when your dumbassed delegats are caught on video proving it, en masse.

Kinda like Peter denying Jesus 3 times.
Prophetic.
OH THAT’S HILARIOUS!
It’s going to play in my head till I hear another song...LOL.
Ha, you and the .0000000000009% in America might not see Obama LOSING.
I'm not sure Romney will win, but I'm am positive Obama will lose and will confidently state I am in the majority of voters in America who believe this. We can't wait til November to FIRE Obama, and his ilk's sorry asses!
even a couple of local Charlotte rags did not cover this incident.
The enemy of this country is the media.
BTW I have just got back from Jacksonville and saw one of their trucks getting gas and so I went up and asked them why they were being biased, why the refused to cover this incident, Israel, the real unemployment figures, how Libya, Egypt etc is a mess.
The anchor woman told me she and her channel are not biased and that they do cover both aprties with even handedness.
I told her you might think that but you sure as hell don;t treat both parties the same.
SHe just shrugged her shoulders and said that they try to be.
I replied well try better and you wonder why viewers are leaving your station
By not gaining a 2/3rds vote for the amandment God should not have been included. But they inclded it anyway; so there dhimis, shove it up your bunghole.
Naturally, the abstract thought required to understand this illegal action will be lost on the majority of the dhimmi party.
Villaraigosa is a rising star? He looked confused when he was trying to do something about the Off-God and -Jerusalem vote. Looked as if he were a little burro—a burrito—standing by a busy freeway. He actually flinched.
More like a shooting star.... His obvious display of incompetence should give a
clear indicator that the party of Hope is comprised of a lot of Dopes.
” Except, most of the MSM is treating it like it never happened.”
We have a CLOSED press and MSM. Most Americans probably don’t know it even happened.
