A woman who was named Essex County, N.J.’s “Teacher of the Year” in 2011 has been suspended from her job after being accused of having sex with a 15-year-old student.
US West Orange High School teacher Erica DePalo, 33, of Montclair, was charged Friday with first-degree aggravated sexual assault, second-degree sexual assault and endangering the welfare of a child, the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office announced.

Going out on a limb here but most “children” of 15 have already gone advanced through puberty and don’t exactly look like small children anymore if you get my drift.
In fact most girls are hitting puberty by age 9 when in my day it was about age 11.
Legally they are not adults but their bodies are too advanced for their own good.

I’d have to vote guilty on this also. I am married to a teacher (retired). I cannot imagine her being so unprofessional as to do anything like this. It really reeks of unprofessionalism. It’s also against the law. Sad.
