Former congressman Virgil Goode Jr. has qualified for the presidential ballot in Virginia, the State Board of Elections ruled Tuesday, adding a potential obstacle to Republican Mitt Romneys hopes of winning the pivotal state.
The state Republican party has already challenged the eligibility of Goode, who is the Constitution Partys nominee, and could still get him knocked off the ballot.

It’s a good thing that I am not a potential Romney voter. I believe it is morally wrong for me to vote for the man.
If some of you are foolish enough to vote for this fool, then I don’t want to hear you whining and moaning on this board if zero takes Virginia this year.
Stupid is as stupid does.
Reagan was a former democrat during the 40’s and 50’s. That’s a far cry from someone who was a dem in the 1990’s after the 1960’s radicalization of that party.
Don’t matter- he has every right to run or not to run.
That's simply not true. Poll after poll shows Goode pulling away Romney voters when his name is added in to the race. A recent poll had Virginia going to Obama 50-45 and 50-43 when Goode's name was included.
He is not pulling voters away from Obama.
Romney or Obama will be the next President. Romney agrees with you 85% of the time, Obama agrees with you 0% of the time
It is absurd to think it “smart” to help elect someone who disagrees with your politics 100% of the time.
Either you are a fraud who is lying about his real political agenda or your are a complete political idiot.
not good...not fuqin good...
You're gonna love Obama's judicial picks, from the High Court on down, especially when they overturn every pro-life initiative that crosses their bench.
Oh well, at least your conscience will be clean.
If we keep voting for Romney/Ryan then in 2020 the GOPe will be nominating PAUL RYAN for President while the Constitution Party is still wandering around at the mall.
Isn't that when Romney was going to out-Kennedy, Ted?
I believe it is morally wrong to facilitate 0bama’s destruction of America by engaging in the pointless and futile gesture of suppporting goode.
There goes 13 electoral votes for Obama.
If my vote costs Romney Tennessee, he would have long since lost the election. I will write someone, most likely Ryan in on the line to preclude mischief.
“Third option, I’ll walk on my own two feet and when the time comes die with a rifle in my arms.”
Spare us your childish dreams of some gotterdammerung between you and 0bama’s minions. Your not going to die holding a rifle, you’ll probably pass away in some decrepit 0bamacare hospital dying in your own filth b/c a death panel ruled you were a lost cause. But, hey, at least you can say that you made a difference by voting for goode.
“I believe it is morally wrong for me to vote for the man.”
Interesting. But if you don’t take meaningful action to remove Obama from power you’ll be morally responsible for everything he does.
Inaction will not save you. You are effectively giving him your consent and the blood of his victims will be on your hands.
Romney is pro-abortion, pro-fag "marriage," a gun grabber, and favors socialist marriage. Even religiously, he is fundamentally different than me. I don't and won't support any of those.
In fact, I disagree with all of those positions 100% of the time. Even if you put an (R) after their name.
And no, I don't support or trust Goode either.
Either you are a fraud who is lying about his real political agenda or your are complete political idiot.
My agenda is I'm tired of the "eight years from now candidates."
Weren't we supposed to be voting for Palin this election by voting for McCain in 2008? I remember giving (read pissing away) money the campaign and trying to get the word out in 2008.
Maybe the GOPE has recognized you're the political idiot, or as Stalin would say, a "useful idiot."
“Its a good thing that I am not a potential Romney voter. I believe it is morally wrong for me to vote for the man.”
So you think it is morally right to help Obama win. There is nothing morally wrong with choosing the better of two imperfect candidates, or the lesser of two evils.
Obama vs. Pol Pot or Stalin would be a difficult moral choice.
Obama vs. Romney is a no brainer.
By your logic, by not voting for Obama, am I morally responsible for everything Romney does as well? Then I am screwed.
