It’s also interesting that Obambi uses Robin Egg Blue, not Royal Blue, the color on our flag. His red is also not true to our flag.
And what colors are on our flag? I see your point. The design is similar to European flags.

Ugh... this is not much different from the so-called analyses by MSNBC goons. They see color in everything. Here, you see everything in merely tri-color logo. Three colors that happen to be the colors appear on the US flag. While you’re at it, why not talk about the shape? Many countries, not only European countries, also have three horizontal stripes in their flags. That must be the sign that Obama campaign is channeling those foreign influences as well.
Two possibilities come to mind- they already know this is the flag of another nation and don’t care, possibly even like the idea, or they are incompetent and ignorant and didn’t think to check what other flags look like.
Theproblem is that had they added a star to differentiate, it might have Poked more like the Stars and Bars instead of the Stars and Stripes.

Considering that this was probably put together by a couple of affirmative action college interns who wouldn’t know the flags of Europe from the flags of states of the USA, I think most posters on this thread are putting WAY TOO MUCH significance to the design and colors.

Carter's message was, he was an economic illiterate and a foreign policy disaster...but I'm not at all clear what the Obama bumper sticker colors are telling me about his current or possible second term. He's gonna turn us into a predominately Catholic country?

Obama's not the first Dem candidate to play with pastels. In '88 the Dems deviated from the expected colors because it was thought they looked better on TV.
The bumper stickers are simply pre-faded.
My guess — because it coordinates with the sky blue ties Obama likes to wear.
