NewsBusters reported Tuesday Barack Obama is now telling reporters what questions to ask of him.
NBC's Jay Leno must have seen this news for the Tonight Show aired a mock video of ABC's Jake Tapper reading a question at Monday's press conference from cue cards held by the President (video follows with transcribed highlights and commentary):
Leno Mocks Obama Controlling Media: Jake Tapper Reads Question From Cue Cards President's Holding
In the middle of his opening monologue, Leno asked, "Hey, have you heard this? There are accusations now that the White House has been feeding questions to reporters."
"Again, see, I don't know if this is true," he continued, "but I watched the President's press conference yesterday. It looked like maybe -- well, here, you be the judge."
A video was then played showing Tapper reading a question directly from cue cards held by Obama.

What's interesting is that Tapper was on Laura Ingraham's radio show Tuesday morning and spoke quite critically about how the media is ignoring important issues such as unemployment.
He also noted the horrible coverage of the 2008 presidential campaign.
Makes you wonder if that's the reason Leno depicted him as the shill in this sketch.
Was this NBC spanking Tapper for telling the truth about media's complicity in aiding and abetting the White House?
Only Leno's hairdresser knows for sure.
Hollywood makes a rare Obama joke.
So much low-hanging fruit; so rarely picked.
Must be a little thin for news over at news busters if they are posting an article about a event made up by Jay Leno ....
Anything the late night comics make fun of must surely not be all that serious, huh . . huh . . huh . . huh . . can it, can it? Huh? Huh? . . . . .
Thanks Kaslin.
That was the point. The news is that even Leno is getting into the Obama bashing...finally.
Yep. And that Tapper is really PO’d. Has been for some time.
Cue cards? Everyone knows Jake Tapper gets his questions fed to him during his Lewinsky sessions with Obama.
OUTSTANDING!
Hey did you hear about all the layoffs and cuts over at the Tonight Show?
Leno had to lay off half of his staff who applied makeup to his chin.
Ten guys out of work like that (snaps finger)!
Not sure whether to laugh or cry. The media in this country has totally given up on the standards of a “free press”, they’re so far up Obama’s a## that anytime he sneezes they chip a tooth.
Good for Jay.
He’s done nothing but produce a number one show for years, and his managemnt jerks him around. F them.
He said he woke up yesterday morning with the head of a peacock in his bed.
I hope he is freer to express himself that he’s more like one of us.
When you lose Jay Leno....

Twenty years of schooling and they don't even put you on the day shift.
...is *now* telling reporters what to ask?
I’m quite confident he’s been doing that since day one. In fact, I’m confident this has been going on since well before he was elected.
What happened that this suddenly became news?
Well, sure. Remember how Breitbart, I think it was, pantsed ABC News in 2009, a month or two after the Immaculation (as Rush calls it), by getting FOIA'd phone records for Rahm Emanuel (Obozo's chief of staff then), Paul Begala, James Carville, and Georgie Clintonopoulos over at ABC News? He got their cell-phone calling record. Over 400 calls/day average among those four guys for the time period Breitbart requested.
That's PER DAY.
I think feats like that cost Breitbart a "heart attack".
A sure sign that President (Bambi) Obama is truly in trouble when the late nate comedy guys start to joke about you. Saw this at the end of Greta last night.

No offense, and maybe you missed it, but in the last couple days there were some articles about how the 'Comedians' were making Romney - Ryan jokes but nary a one about Obama or Biden (a joke writers dream).
So this is news since most of Barry's voters get their news from 'Comedians' like Leno, Jon Stewart, Colbert, etc, etc. And of all places -- from Entertainment Tonight. Where Obama will now doing a lot of softball 'interviews' (article on that earlier this week, the Blaze iirc).
Wow! 400 per day each? Even divided up among them, that averages to 100 each.
That is really pathetic. For one thing, that makes these guys look like they are addicted to their phones. Two, are they so inept that they can’t accomplish what they need to in some reasonable number of calls? And three, are they so co-dependent that they have to act like some lovestruck teenage girls needing to slobber all over each other constantly? Pathetic. Pathetic. Pathetic.
