“On all these issues, I think the most important thing we can do, and a big project of mine, is just making the federal government more customer friendly,”

SNIP

"I think the best role the federal government can play is oftentimes listening and trying to come to consensus at the local level and making sure the federal government is not getting in the way of that consensus once it's built up

Customer MY ASS!!! The American people are the employers, the federal and local governments are our employees. If the American people stopped paying taxes, because they believe you are not doing your job, you would be out of business in a heartbeat.

Yea - just like when Arizona tried to deal with their illegal immigrant problem or - when Boeing relocated to South Carolina.

He defines consensus the same way Mao, Che, Fidel, Chavez and Stalin did/does.

This statement provides another of those revealing looks into the core philosophy of a man who flouts the reality presented by the Oath of Office which any American President must take. That core reality is:

1. The 1787 Constitution of the United States is "the People's" document to limit and control the government it structures by specifying and placing strict limits on any powers which "the People" grant to elected officials within that document.

2. Any elected official, including the Executive (President) is a servant of "the People," whose Constitution he/she swears to uphold as the "Supreme Law of the land." The "government" that Executive is elected to Administer has no "customers." It has "the People" who are, according to Justice Story, "the only KEEPERS of the Constitution" (See final para. - Joseph Story, "Commentaries on the Constitution").

3. The "government" is not a grantor of rights, nor is it a dispenser of the coercively collected earnings of "the People." Its primary assigned duty is as a defender and upholder of the Constitution and the defense of the unalienable, Creator-endowed individual rights of the "only KEEPERS" of the Constitution, "the People."

John Quincy Adams was a child of 9 in 1776 and Age 11 when the Constitution was framed in 1787. His father was a leader in the cause of liberty, and served as President under the Constitution. So did John Quincy, who also served in various other offices, including in the Congress until his death. His understanding of the Constitution and the duties of Office, as well as the history of the Republic is summarized in his "Jubilee" Address in 1839, here. One of his statements relates specifically to the role of the President:

"The President himself is no more than a representative of public opinion at the time of his election; and as public opinion is subject to great and frequent fluctuations, he must accommodate his policy to them; or the people will speedily give him a successor; or either House of Congress will effectually control his power. It is thus, and in no other sense that the Constitution of the United States is democratic - for the government of our country, instead of a Democracy the most simple, is the most complicated government on the face of the globe." - John Quincy Adams

1) I’m not your customer Mr. Obama, I’m your boss.

2) It’s my money that pays your salary and expenses, not the other way around.

3) Based on your horrible performance, I intend to fire you in November.

Customers? The federal government has hostages, not customers. Well, it does have a client class of dependents looking to soak everyone else.

Guess, then, that they’re planning to sign up everyone for AARP membership, so you can read the organization’s bulletin while you die of old age waiting for the federal bureaucracy to move.

If I’m a customer, then I’d like to organize a boycott. Fellow Americans, let’s take our business elsewhere.

Oh wait, I forgot, the “company” can now force me to buy it’s products, like 0bamaCare.

Obama wants a 'customer-friendly' federal government

Does that include voters terrorized by black racist thugs in Pennsylvania?

I’m not sure how anyone could think the “Federal Government” is capable of forming a consensus anywhere…. Not even among theses “united” States where it acualy composes.

The only kind of “consensus “ Washington has ever created was the kind where we all agree that they are leaving us with no choice but to either comply with their edict or resist.

Actually they would institute a draft to force Americans to join an army to forcibly take other American’s money.

Washington when you get down to it is and always has been a self-serving monster. One way or the other by the barrel of a gun it will take your money & freedom.
