It's like it's the ONLY news happening on the entire planet. Anyone else noticing this?
They are spending 3 minutes of every 15 on this, and have been, all morning.
CBS Evening News devoted a FULL EIGHT MINUTES to this last night.
Same with NPR this morning.
Yes, I listen to what the enemy says in the morning. Helps get my blood flowing ... er, boiling.
hopefully their coverage today will help Akin see the light and get OUT.
The media is just doing its job. The overall, strategic vision of the media is to do what it can to enhance liberal / democrat / Obama’s re-election chances.
What, you thought it was to share the news?
Why not, FReepers are happily cheering them on.
And Buzzfeed is reporting Akin campaign just made a 8-22 thru 8-27 ad buy.
If true he’s staying in.
Just Wow...
It’s been the top story hourly story on the local and national newsbreaks here in Maine too.
This will be the front page news mantra of the next few months and he will be pegged the poster child for the Republicans War On Women. Theyre probably making the ads now. This is no longer a statewide issue.
What could he possibly say ?
If true this will be the news from now until election day.
Its the “War on Woman” narrative brought back for an encore.
It is an idiotic phrase, but it is simple and easily repeated.
It’s difficult to swim against a tsunami.
While the MSM are fading, the journ0lists are still a significant factor when teamed with Democrat strategists.
CNN is mild compared to the Non-Stop of MSNBC yesterday and today.
Democrats and liberals rally around misspeak. Republicans wash their hands and capitulate to liberal group think out of fear.
My bad seems to be about the only thing...
I hope so too. But I am fearfull that Akin has a big “political ego” and thinks he’s clever enough to spin this so he can still win. If Akin doesn’t withdrawl soon enough the Republicans might not have a nominee.
Does anyone know if you can be a petition canidate if you ran in the primary in MO? I think he not only wrecked his political career he may cost us the Senate in that he allowed the left to take the focus off the Economy and onto Rape/Abortion.
I suppose we can focus on the House and the WH. Why attempt to swim against a tsunami that your own team is creating?
Followed by a bunch of Gop Reps. skinny dipping in the Sea of Galilee!
You can shoot up a Family Research Council office while holding a Chick-Fil-A bag and not get near the coverage.
It's been made easier for them to do so by some fool who said womens' reproductive systems have a smart feature that prevents pregnancy in the case of forcible rape. Losses need to be cut here, which is in dispute because apparently a lot of people agree with him.
Big deal!
CNN ratings are in the toilet. MSNBC isnt taken seriously.
NPR audience are left-wingers.
Let them hyperventilate.
