Donald Trump blasted President Barack Obamas senior adviser Robert Gibbs Sunday as vicious and hateful after the former press secretary called Trump a right-wing nut job on Fox News.
Trump told Newsmax. I built a net worth in excess of $8 billion, built a tremendous company, and have employed tens of thousands of people. I hardly see where I qualify under his definition. He recently declined an offer to deliver a prime-time speech at the Republican National Convention, but he has been promising to deliver a big surprise at the convention in Tampa, Fla., which begins on Aug. 27.
The Obama representatives like Robert Gibbs attack people viciously, but people like me will not be silent and will answer them back.....that is why the country is so terribly divided."
Trump added. Obama has no solutions. Obama has failed the country and its great citizens, and they dont like it when somebody such as myself speaks the truth about this it hurts too much."
During an interview on Fox News Sunday, Gibbs used the smear against Trump while trying to make a point about GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney.
I'm not going to be lectured by Mitt Romney or anybody on the Romney campaign about the tone of this campaign, Gibbs began. This is a guy who's . . . auctioning off dinners with the birther in chief, right-wing-nut-job Donald Trump, who still questions whether or not the president was born in the United States of America.
Robert Gibbs is nothing more than a mouthpiece for a desperate campaign that once promised us hope and change and has given us nothing but debt and unemployment, Trump said. Our country is in serious trouble, and something must be done.

Trump has a lot to lose and he sees it. The rich chitheads in Hollywood don’t get it.
None of the things you mentioned make him coo-coo, imho.
Perhaps I used the wrong word.
Overly emotional might better sum The Donald up.
He loses his message when he gets his feelings hurt.
I don’t know if getting Trump upset is a good strategy. After all he knows where all the money people in NY are. It could dry up real quick if he starts a whisper campaign.
Pray for America
Trump is the birther in chief? Cool.
I saw one of the last photos of Salvador Allende crouched down in the Chile, helmet on, machine gun in hand before he was killed.
I would love to see the same picture of the White House and U-no-who in the same predicament.
Anyone the White House reps bring up is a person they fear or they would not do it. They fear anyone who would dare speak out with courage and confront them offensively rather than being put on defense. Trump has been taunting Obama on his Twitter account every day. I bet they are afraid he has a big secret he will reveal about Obama at the RNC convention. Cavuto asked Trump what the big secret was and Trump said “I can’t say, but it will be the truth.” (Draw your own conclusions about that, but I just bet Obama is wondering what he meant by that!) They know Trump has been digging around.
How about never afraid to speak his mind, and unabashedly un-PC.
Trump is never one to not take the chance to be in front of a camera. He has declined to speak at the GOP convention. This is odd, this is very odd. At the same time the former Press Secretary is attacking Trump and calling him a “right wing nut job.”
Trump either has something that is devastating to Obama or they think he has. Why attack Trump in this manner unless there is something out there that is very bad for Obama. If they were not afraid of something out there, the best thing for them to do is just laugh it off and ignore Trump.
They are frightened of something.
True; and being 'thin skinned' not an admirable trait for a 'big guy'. That said; am glad he takes on Obama; without a PC filter. Pathetic that this is 'refreshing'; but the sheer lack of courage among a gutless majority of our Leadership; makes it just that.
BUMP for plain speaking!
Neither Gibbs nor President Jughead is bright enough to take on Trump. Trump will open a can of verbal whip-ass on these dunces.
We need a Soros billionaire who deeply understands and respects the constitutional Republic and has a sense of the human character needed to operate as a free person (and a free business person) in a free country.
Not sure Trump is that guy.
I’ve never seen them in the same place at the same time. Just a coincidence? ;-)
Exactly, maybe Gibbs Can Enlighten us on how he will employ the 1200 people when they lose their jobs if Obumbo gets reelected and Trumps has to lay them off, I guess they will be the latest applicants for Disability, food stamps and welfare. Those people will then be Listed as Employed, because standing in line for Goverment Benefits will qualify for employment for the year. You then come back the next day and Apply for unemployment since you only have to work for one day to Qualify
Laurel and Hardy. The police turn on their flashlights, catch the burglar in the act, and then the movie stops? Dissonance.
Somebody needs to tell him that Alvin Onaka recently confirmed to AZ SOS Ken Bennett that Obamas birth record in Hawaii is not legally valid and the image that was posted on the White House website is not a true and accurate representation of the original record on file at the HDOH.
And....
Well he's half right.
You're angry. I am angry. That's two votes right there. Except out of those who are angry, about half don't vote, so we really have to call it "one vote.".
Who are "The People?" Are 51% of them angry enough to vote against Obama?
Bennett claims he thought the non-verification of the birth date was just a typing error (the typist just sort of forgot to type in the 6 items requested on the application itself). But the legal presumption that has to be followed is the presumption of regularity - that it was processed according to the standard protocols and is in compliance with the law.
He won’t be able to claim “typing error” any more when his own state AG sets him straight on that...
Gibbs is sort of a bland nothingness. To make the statement such as he did means he has descended into desperation.
All he is is falling apart around him. He is the point man in a crumbling campaign.
One other thing too. The media never bothered to see what Bennett actually requested from Onaka. The 2nd page of Bennett’s request (the special requests) were all that anybody reported - even though he twice referenced the official application (page 1). He made it abundantly clear that his special requests were IN ADDITION TO the requests on the actual application.
Not one journalist bothered to see and report on what application form he was talking about - which he also referenced in interviews before Onaka responded, describing how he followed the standard protocol listed on the HDOH website. Not one journalist bothered to request the actual communications, to see what was on that application form that Bennett sent.
Not one journalist bothered to look up and report on the statute that governed Onaka’s response. Not one.
Except TPM Muckraker, which says they requested the communications but failed to report on the actual application that was sent in.
Journalistic malpractice, all the way around.
And that is why normal people like you and me are stuck spending our time, money, and energy to undo the damage. The media and the bureaucrats are milking us dry while screwing us, and I’m fed up with it. The general public as well as the culprits HAVE to be made aware of their own negligence and the high price for it. And that price needs to fall on the heads, wallets, and handcuffed wrists of the culprits themselves, if we’re ever to get out from under this crap.
