The CMS family has been added to recently.
On July 3, 2012 my wife gave bitrh to our daughter Ashleigh. She is the best thing to ever happen to my wife and I.
But getting her home was a struggle.
In mid June my wife had a positive pregnancy test at a hospital, we didn't think much of it at first since she was on the shot, has PCOS, and endometriosis and were told that it would not be possible for her to get pregnant. My wife started to think about it and wanted a better answer so on June 29th she went to a clinic to get a more precise answer. Thier tests showed that she was pregnant, but when they did a sonogram it showed nothing. They told her to come back in a week for another sonogram. 3 days later on July 2 my wife started to get severe cramps lasting a short time, but occuring every so often. After this went on for several hours we went to the ER, where we found out she was 35 weeks pregnant and in labor. A few hours later she gives birth by c-section due to decreasing vital signs caused by meconium asperation. Our daughter was transfered to a different hospital better equiped to handle her care.
Since my wife didn't know she was pregnant she continued to take her perscriptions Xanax, Lexapro, and Seroquel. Due to this most the staff at the hospital treated my wife like shit for the 5 weeks our daughter was in the NICU. After the c-section my wife developed an infection, and a potassium imbalance, so for about a week and a half, I was going back and forth between the hospital being with our daughter and taking care of my wife. When my wife recovered and started to be at the hospital everyday, asking questions regarding the care of our daughter and when she would be coming home, the nurses, nurse practioners, and doctors were suspicious of her They questioned the safety of our daughter with us so they had "Safe Place" (a low-jack style devive) put on our daughter for fear my wife would remove her from the NICU. And according to the info in our discharge paperwork, the hospital tried to get CPS involved with our child because they questioned our ability to be parents, but thankfully CPS said there was no case.
If someone can remind me how to post a pic I will post a few.

Not just exercise, but I’ve lost about 30 lbs with the walks since I retired. I am back down to 174 lbs from my high of 205 last November.

No, she’s not year-round. Almost all of the schools in the Valley and much of the rest of the state run from early August to late May. Longer mid-year breaks make for a shorter Summer break.
The rocks are doing their job admirably; so much so that the neighbor has put in his own ‘stream bed’ of river rock.

Congrats on the baby, CMS!
Today’s sleepless nights are worth it, in the long run. Nothing is as good for your heart as a daughter.
