They also have gay characters in the comic.
The franchise long-ago jumped the shark (like in 1960), and this is all a desperate attempt at reviving a dead commercial brand.

I haven't read a comic book in 40 years.
Was it “Wimpy” who ate like dozens of hamburgers every day?
Next issue...
Michele Obama lectures Wimpy on childhood obesity.

Occupy Riverdale?
Almost as ridiculous as the ‘Green Lantern’ coming out of the sodomy closet...

Not a bad idea considering the entire OWS movement was a joke.

In this episode Dr. Ibbetson talks about Occupy in the new addition of “Archie” comics.
Uh thats EDITION not assition
Anyway, Archie comics used to be fun to read even if the jokes were a little old. But aside from the good-girl art they were clean and ok for kids.
Sounds like every lie of Satan is inhabiting the newest issues. very sad.

Seems as though Archie Comics have really gone into hard-left propaganda in the past few years. But so have comics as a whole, from what I’ve seen. Scanned a few comic message-boards around the time of the Occupy idiocy, and fandom seemed to be almost in total lockstep with it. Looked as though more conservatively-minded fans have pretty much been driven away from the medium, as it caters more and more to the homo crowd and the anarchist dead-enders. A really bleak, depressing subculture. Which is a shame, because comics were once a nice little corner of mainstream americana.

I never heard of that one. I stopped reading after Brightest Day. Did Hal Jordan turn fag?

I keep hearing on conservative sites about how awful they are these days (and I believe it). But I never see kids reading them like in the old days. And yes I live in a liberal part of the country.
So who does reads Archie comics these days?

They also have gay characters in the comic. "Archie was the bitch and Jughead was the butch. That's why Jughead wears that crown-looking hat all the time. He the king of queen Archie's world." - Chasing Amy (1997)

Archie comics were the worst, although the comic books were better than the short Archie's in the funny pages.
Anyway, the BEST girl-art, AND the BEST plot and story in comics come from Dogpatch, USA.

Nobody.
That's why they're resorting to increasingly silly agitprop.

Any rapes or murders yet?
To: zeestephen
Yes, that was Wimpy from the Popeye strip. “I’ll gladly pay you Tuesday for a hamburger today.”
To: 1pitech
In the ‘new’ Archie comics Archie is buggering jughead while Betty and Veronica experiment with Snap-On-Tools.
