Anyone else experience repeated destruction of your conservative mailings?
I bought a sign at Romney's web site, and when it arrived, the packaging was messed up along with a note of "apology" from the USPS.
A week or so later, my Limbaugh newsletter came, shredded up...still readable, but clearly mangled. No apology.
Today, a mailing from FreedomWorks. The large envelope ripped open at the top, torn up. No apology.
Mailings from different regions, all conservative and rather large items, all mucked up.
Coincidence? I don't think so.
They should apologize for raping taxpayers.
I apologize for my harsh rhetoric.
It sounds like it must be either your local post office, or a nearby distribution center.
It is not in conformance to their Agenda, which is to Rule a Socialist Nation, which we are nearly arriving at. Removal of ALL Public Unions should be a plank in the GOP Platform, but it cannot be, as they have to pander for Government-Unionist votes.....good luck with that (you've got as much chance of Unionized Government "workers" voting Republican, as you do for Blacks to voter (R).)
Document your findings and present them to the postmaster at your local post office. You may or may not get satisfaction, but the documentation process, and proving that you followed the chain of command is key to getting satisfaction from monolithic organizations.
Report this to the US Post Office Inspector General’s office. Believe it or not they are DAMN Good.
The USPS accidentally delivered a mailing intended for USPS union members and it was pretty grim reading in terms of anti-taxpayer sentiment and focus on politics and maintaining the cushy status quo.

Don’t over-react. The poor “workers at the postal “service” are upset that the postal service may go belly-up and they may loose their seat on the gravy train...that’s all. They are frustrated.

"Gee, that's some really nice mail you have there. It sure would be a shame if something happened to it."

Who knew! And we all thought it was excessive then the Syrian Islamists threw the bodies of postal workers off the roof.
They are repulsed at the destruction of the concept that government jobs may no longer mean forever jobs. And then forever pensions and benefits.
Contact Postal Inspectors directly. Do NOT go through local Postmaster or your carrier! Document everything. Save everything. Inspectors will want to see it. Assuming they do their job. They take such things seriously. Really, they do...
I received a Romney photograph that was clearly labeled as “Photograph - Do not bend”; and it was bent in half.
Call the Postal Inspectors.
They might just be a bunch of screw-ups. I know I get a lot of mail with stamps I'm able to reuse.
Not surprisingly the USPS has a disproportionate number of D voters "employed".
If they thought you ate your mail, you can bet they'd spit on it.
Yes, though it's not a "conventional" mailing. A friend of mine collects newspaper clippings from my hometown paper and forwards them in sealed manila envelopes, once every two to three months.
Back in '09, he found some very uncomplimentary pictures of Obama, Reid and Pelosi, printed up a batch and always decorates the back of the envelope with one of each - securely taped in place all around the edges. Every time, the USPS tears off the Obama pic but leaves Harry and Nancy in place.
I'm sure that each mailing results in another red flag next to both our names on "the list", but I'm probably on there too many times to care any more.
