Gunman on Texas A&M campus apprehended, 'multiple people' shot: report

Texas A&M University says a shooter has been taken into custody near its campus in College Station.

College Station police spokeswoman Rhonda Seaton tells CNN multiple people have been shot, including law enforcement, but she doesn't know the extent of the injuries.

The civilian who died was an Aggie’s mom helping student get moved in for semester. I think student was a freshman.

Maybe we need to re-vamp our “justice” system (not to mention re-institute mental facilities) and get serious.

I know. He’s also got a lot of other “moms” around. I went to A&M, and all my old classmates are vowing to check in on him.

Plus, my 28 year old nephew and his wife are moving to College Station.

It’s just hard being so far away. Maybe it will convince my husband to move out of California!!!

I lived in that area when I attended A&M 30 years ago. It was a dumpy area back then. We called our apartment complex "the projects."

From the information I’ve seen, the female civilian(presumably the mother you mention) was in surgery from being shot in the arm. The fatalities are the constable, a male civilian(possibly landlord), and the shooter.

I lived in the same area for a semester in 1981. I can't remember the name of the street but it was a very dumpy apartment complex.

Most definitely - looking like this has nothing to do with A&M at all. An eviction gone bad is escalated into a campus massacre before you could spit. Speaks volumes about the media ghouls and their agendas.

We take our son down day after tomorrow to start his fish year. Will your son be in the Corps?
