Why does the Republican Party capitulate repeatedly in this important matter of who asks the questions. The habitual recurrence of this situation defies reason. At least for me.

Tactical decision. The Goebbels on the Left control the venue, and will triumphantly and incessantly portray any Republican resistance to their moderator choices as a sign of fear and weakness. This would hurt Republicans with moderates and independents.

Refuse debates moderated by Democrat shills (i.e. the media). Push for moderating panels made of retired judges and ambassadors.

Heck, everyone knows these debate panels are stocked with libs who will ask unfair questions and ignore areas that put Obama in a bad light while emphasizing areas that put Romney in a bad light. That hasn’t changed in 30 years.

Whar Romney/Ryan have to do (and any skilled debater knows this) is to ignore 95% of the question and give the answer you want the listeners to hear. I don’t know Ryan’s debating skills but he does have a sharp mind and seems very able to think on his feet. He’ll clean Biden’s weak ass but then don’t be shocked if the media “analysts” all tell you Biden won because they are, after all, Democrat cheerleaders.

That would be worth watching and you’d know where the moderators were coming from.

The only winning move is not to play. Just as both legal teams get to pick members of the jury, so both parties should be able to select the settings of the debates.

Recall that candidate Obama refused to attend the Democrat primary debate to be held on Fox.

This is such a sham, liberals moderating this, nah they will show no bias here, hell even over the weekend Crowley has shown her bias by her remarks.

Seriously, PBS is going to moderate a debate?Who even watches them?

In 2008, the black female debate moderator at PBS had a book on the Obama campaign slated to be released on Jan 20, 2009. There was "no conflict of interest" in her moderating the debate, financial or otherwise, right?

A rigged debate is a rigged election.

The "Twenty-One" gameshow scandal drew bigger attention in the press.

When the Left gets to frame the "important" issues of the day and the perspective in which they will be discussed, the game is over before it has begun.

Ask Barack Obama to define Marxism, then a followup to determine how his policies fail to meet those social goals.

In the GOP primary, candidates were asked questions on evolution and "obeying" your husband. Ask Barack Hussein Obama, self-declared Christian, if he believes that Jesus Christ is risen and has walked among men after His crucifixtion.

Game over, indeed.
