He is plain spoken and therefore easier to run negative ads against and vilify.
Sounds like he will fit in well, with the Go-Along, Get-Along
crowd in DC.
I can read you from a mile away, you do not like Sarah Palin so you are voting against the other Sarah.
Well, Claire McCaskill has endorsed Akin, so I had to go with Palin on this one.Are you serious?
It appears McCaskill strategy is working. She may end up
with Akin.
Yep, watch out for answered prayers Claire!
Same here...I’ve been on several of Akin’s telephone townhall calls. Conservative, helpful, and knowledgable.
** I don’t know, race just tightened! this one is going down to the wire..

Good post. I agree. The "Hey, I'm a Tea Party maverick!" shtick wears a bit thin.
And Brunner, in turn, turned me off with his negative TV ads, linking Steelman visually with McCaskill and Obama.
So I voted for my steady, solid, conservative congresssman, Todd Akin.
I think we will have trouble getting rid of Democrat Governor Nixon. He has worked conservatively with the Republican legislature and is hard working and dilegent.
Again, I agree. Missouri will go Repuplican for President and Senate this fall, but the one Democrat who is likely to survive is Nixon. For a Democrat, he's relatively "centrist."
I don’t see Aiken as anything less than solid conservative. By plain spoken I reference his use of “socialist”, “impeachable” and similar strong words from his seat in the Congress.
Just heard that Fortunio is going to speak at the convention Hot damn.
Look at Steelman and her history....RINO.
Look at Akin, Pretend-hide-my-rino-trends...RINO
Brunner, a Clint Eastwood badAZZ. Best in MO.
Go Brunner GO!
Looks like this is a done deal, with Akin running away with it!
It appears McCaskill’s endorsement of Adkin may carry more
weight tonight than Palin’s (Steelman) or Freedomworks(Bruner). If Adkin wins tonight, give McCaskill,
the Rat, credit.

Looks like St Louis reported in!
Actually I like Palin. My modest reservations on Steeleman are from the prior elections long before Palin endorsed.
I would say that Aiken and Steeleman fairly compared on FR would show Aiken is more our brand.
I would have no trouble supporting Steeleman if she wins tonight.
McCaskill’s endorsement of Akin seems to carrying the most weight tonight. It appears the RAT Endorsement has won the day, for now.
