Gay rights activists are planning to hold on Friday a "national same-sex kiss day at Chick-fil-A," the restaurant chain whose president's opposition to same-sex marriage sparked a media frenzy.
"Let's show Chick-fil-A thanks for their support of Love, Equality, and the Real Definition of Marriage!" organizers posted on their Facebook page.
Same-sex couples are expected to arrive at restaurants across the country and kiss in protest, then post video or photos of the event on social media.
But on Wednesday, throngs of others weighed in on the Chick-fil-A debate, buying chicken sandwiches at stores to show their support of the chain.

Any FReepers who live conveniently near a Chick-fil-A should go over during one of the major meal times and take some pictures. Then we can post them compared to the Appreciation Day pictures and show the world how insignificant these people actually are.
The media will show up, take tight close in video’s of the two or three couples that show up and make it out to be a big protest.

What if they came, and nobody cared? They are trying to be obnoxious to get a rise out of Christians. If straights were to cause a scene by kissing and making out I would expect management to ask them to leave. It shouldn’t make any difference if they are gay or straight, if they are behaving disrespectfully, it shouldn’t be allowed to continue. I say, ignore them, don’t give them the attitude they are trying to draw out of you so they can put it on youtube and say “see how hateful these rightwing dingbat Christains are??” This would be a good time to go to Chick-fil-A and order a meal and just turn away from anything that might be offensive. Pray, pray, pray.

According to the constitution these creeps have the right to kiss anywhere they want. But an owner of a private business still has the right to ask them to leave and to not serve them.
A funny thing for Chic F Lay to do would be to close and post signs saying “Due to the record setting day we had yesterday, and in appreciation of the hard work done by our employees, we are allowing them the day off. If you want to stand in front of the closed store and kiss, go ahead.”
Like doing some heavy hetero making out at gay bars Friday night?

Given the tiny fragment of the population they are, it will be a major challenge just to get ONE “couple” into each restaurant.
I will be dining at Chick-fil-A tomorrow, once again.
My guess is that I won’t see any “same -sex kissing”.

Nahhhh, the funny thing to do, as I mentioned in another thread, is to show up with judges scoring flip cards and rate the kisses. On technique and personal appearance.
