Today is Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day, an event semi-organized by Mike Huckabee in response to the Gay Mafia's attempt to browbeat a private citizen into silence, all because he stood up for something he believed in. Mumbles Menino and Rahmbo can kiss moral America's collective butt if the response in other Chick-fil-A restaurants is even remotely similar to what I saw just a few minutes ago at our local one. The place is being overwhelmed!! I told the manager why we were here and, after thanking us, he said that there was no way he could have prepared for such a massive influx of customers. I wouldn't be at all surprised if they ran out of food today.
I went by the one closest to the house and I could not get near it so I left. Went back and it was worse. Have never seen it like this. Lots of great people here.
All these reports are getting me stoked to drive the 300 miles to Boise to buy a sandwich.
Eh,.. maybe not.
In response to the “kiss-in”, I recommend a good ‘ol “laugh-in”.
Nothing like the humorous laughing derision of ~100 good folks to set the tone (something like: “resist the devil and he will flee...”).
just got back with the family and it was amazing.
Three cops to deal with traffic, line wrapped around the building, people were polite, everyone talking in good spirits and laughing.
Line for the drive through went around the building, down the road, and half way into the homo depot parking lot.
AMAZING, now contrast that to a lefty nut protest, with swearing, name calling, hate, bigotry etc.
guess Eric Bolling is in for Neil Cavuto and they are doing the opening story with the lead in from Shep at the 2:00 hour here.
There’s at least an hour wait at the Chick-fil-a near the sports arena in San Diego.
I predict that the left will play the race card. They will see these pictures, and say, why arent there any African-Americans in there? The MSM will speculate, gee, is this place racist in addition to being homophobic? Not if any pictures go up from the Lombard, IL, CFA. We went there at noon, stood in an out-the-door 60-deep line while the take-out folks were in lines (if they were straightened out) at least two blocks long, and two, maybe three (I forget) of the five people taking orders in the main restaurant were black, and there were another couple black employees helping with the shake orders.
I thought it would be funny if C-F-A only had their drive through window open on the ‘kiss in’ day.
It would really take the punch out of the gays tasteless gawdy disrespectful public display.
that is great, Ohio. I live in Florence Ky.
can you imagine pictures all over the internet with a bunch of gays kissing and whatever in front or in these restaurants??????
Like an earlier poster said -
Run out of food. There is nothing illegal about closing, and you can bet they have enough profit from today. (Probably the next couple of days, actually. Like a few other folks, I couldn't make it today, so I plan on going tomorrow)
Without an audience to 'shock', their protest will fall flat on it's little fairy face.
IMHO, they KNEW they would be totally outnumbered today. I think that's why they conveniently staged their slobber-fest for Friday.
The opening story on the 4pm news here in Indianapolis was reports from 4 Chick-Fil-A restaurants that were overwhelmed with customers.
What was most interesting to me was that they interviewed a significant number of black people who were supporting the “biblical view of marriage”.
I think Baraq, Axlegrease, and Plouffy have stepped in the dogsh!t.
FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- This is the day that's been designated by supporters of the Chick-fil-A restaurant chain as an "appreciation day" to show that they are behind CEO Dan Cathy who was criticized for saying he opposes gay marriage.
Legal FReepers - what can Chick Fil A do about this on Friday?
ONLY have Drive-Thru Service. Won’t stop it but will make it difficult to make a spectacle of themselves.
Otherwise, can they loiter on private propety?
