Somewhere Over the Rainbow By Judy Garland
Casablanca - As Time Goes By Frank Sinatra
Apocalypse now - The End By The Doors
It's eclectic...
Thanks for all you do.
For great songs written specifically for movie soundtracks, I've got a special thing for "The Kiss" from Last of the Mohicans and "The Ecstasy of Gold" from The Good, The Bad & The Ugly.
For songs from other genres (rock, country, etc.) that made their way into movie soundtracks, I'd add: "Layla" by Derek & The Dominos (from Goodfellas), "Broken Arrow" by Robbie Robertson (from Beyond the Law), and "Nothing I Can Do About It Now" by Willie Nelson (from The Rookie).
From "Show Boat", the 1936 Jerome Kern and Oscar Hammerstein musical.
OUTSTANDING choice!!!
Hi Connie, made it thru the storm:)(((((Hugs)))))
