A man who can justify mass murder of innocent human life should be president?
July 17, 2012 | Jim Robinson

Posted on 07/17/2012 11:55:45 AM PDT by Jim Robinson

I'm sorry folks, but a man who can justify and rationalize in his own mind the wholesale slaughter of innocent human life can justify any kind of evil whatsoever. And he has.

He's justified homosexual marriage, homosexuals in the Boy Scouts, homosexuals in the military. That homosexual couples should be able to adopt children. He's justified that guns are dangerous and should be banned. That free citizens should be forced by the government to purchase insurance contracts against their will or face stiff penalties or taxes. That mandated forced socialized healthcare is a good thing.

That abortion should be safe and legal in America. That since Roe v Wade has been in effect for over twenty years that it is settled law and should be defended as same. That when the government puts Planned Parenthood on the board of his own brainchild signature accomplishment and makes taxpayer funded abortion available on demand, "it's not his fault." That when he appoints liberal judges and appointees, it's not his fault. When a judge rules that homosexual couples should be allowed to marry, so HE orders it done, it's not his fault.

He's justified that the earth is warming and it's caused by man and we are going to have to do something about it. He's justified that since the economy is down and some companies are failing, that it's a good thing that the government stepped in and bailed them out. That government should spend MORE of what it doesn't have to stimulate the economy. That the debt limit should be increased so the government can continue spending even more of what it doesn't have. He's justified in his own mind that fee hikes are not tax increases.

My friends he has justified and personally enacted just about the entire liberal/progressive, abortionist/homosexualist, statist/socialist, big government anti-liberty agenda.

And they have the gonads to ask me for MY vote?

Worth repeating!!!

You can repeat that illogical bit of horse manure a thousand times, and it still won't be true. Our electoral system isn't designed to vote 'against' any candidate.

Failing to vote for Romney won't give Obama a single additional vote. If your GOP-e liberal fails to garner enough votes to topple Obama, it's because he didn't close the deal with enough Republican voters to beat him.

End of lesson.

Far be it for the GOP-e to try to go out and get some new voters.

They still operate under the idea that when the vote is suppressed (by snow, rain, disaster, plague or poison) it's good for Republicans.

That hasn't been so since before the 1930s.

If they had anyone over there who understood the slightest bit of political theory they'd understand that waiting to go to the middle takes you to an area with few voters ~ you have to secure the base early, and build on it. Does no good to tell your base to take a hike ~ which is what they've done this year!

I know Reagan had more principals and integrity than anyone but my point is he was still a politician and he worked with those on the other side. It is often necessary to get things done

I don't understand.....leads me to believe that you may not really be interested in honest dialogue so I won’t continue with you. I will say though that it is typical of free republic these days, which is why it takes 3 months to raise the funds that used to be raised in a month.

Instead of answering the pluses you see for Romney and why anyone/everyone should vote for him, you attack the one asking and attack FR.

Why the angst? Wouldn't it just be simpler and more honest to just answer the question. There most be a reason for not doing so - do you hate GOD, FAMILY, COUNTRY so much that you attack a site which promotes it? I know Romney is godless but we aren't, is that the beef?

They invested in a steel mill as part of the business in which Romney made a FORTUNE, and it was a bad decision, so you can argue Romney understands capitalism LESS???

No, you really can’t nake the argument it’s that ridiculous, with a president with no business experience who just said that people who build a business didn’t really accomplish anything. Plus he’s a communist.

Let’s see the creator of the Staples franchise versus a communist, I wonder which one is the capitalist.

I hear what you’re saying. The R’s have done everything possible to spit on me and everything I hold dear. They are a lawless, gutless, putrid stench and everything within me wants to flip them the bird and be done with it.

Unfortunately, though, if I flip them the bird I will also be flipping the bird at my kids’ futures. It’s like somebody wanting to shoot down the one who has kidnapped their kid or spouse - but the kidnapper is holding that kid or spouse as a human shield. Do you shoot what you hate and also end up killing what you love? Which compels us more - hatred for the kidnapper, or love for the kid/spouse?

That’s where I’m at with this. I can understand the arguments of those who just can’t stomach voting for the putrescence. I can understand the arguments of those who believe there’s no difference between the two (although just thinking of Eric Holder reminds me there’s a HUGE difference in outcome between Obama and Romney). Especially those who would have to gag to vote for Romney who doesn’t stand a chance in their state anyway, I can absolutely understand their argument, and I would be right there with them on it.

For me though, I have to love my kids more than I hate Karl Rove. I’ll save my kid first and THEN I’ll deal with Karl Rove. Lord willing.

Would that it were so easy. He also has to appoint the judges, cabinet officers, and senior bureaucrats who will carry out (or at least not obstruct) the process of turning some of the current morass around. I expect, instead, that R0mney will appoint judges, cabinet officers, and senior bureaucrats who agree with the current morass, and wish to perpetuate and extend it. That's what he did in Massachusetts.

Massachusetts is the most liberal state in the country. Different game. It wasn't possible to get right-of-center or even center nominees there no matter how hard Romney would have tried. That would be like nominating a tax-cutter in Russia. No way.

However, at the Federal level the House and perhaps the Senate will be GOP. Romney knows he can get different types of nominees passed in this climate and he will put them up accordingly. Go ahead and believe Romney wants the current morass to continue if you like (I don't) but even if you do Congress serves as a check. However, with Obama you can count 100% on extreme left nominees.

"They" (the Mittbots) are AFRAID to go campaign in the areas where there are a lot of Obot voters wandering about. They could though, and might even convert those poor people from one brand of Satan to another ~ like if you'll follow Satan and vote for him in one guise, then you'll follow Satan and vote for him in a different guise.

Instead, they think it's easier campaigning to convert moral Conservatives into Mittbots like themselves.

Disgusting people.

He only has to sit in the seat and sign the bills which will turn some of the current morass around

You mean his campaigning before 08 was so he can sit and sign bills? Gotcha. No other agenda in mind. Gotcha. He trash a conservative 24/7 for four years and had created Bloody Thursday against Newt and spent millions on attack ads on him - to sit and sign bills. Gotcha

So like what bills? Obomacare/the stepchild to Romneycare that he embraces?

Appoint liberal judges in favor of conservative ones like he did in MA?

You need to be more specific

I'll say one thing - what you want/expect is not what Mitt has planned. However, your's is honest!!

Every Mormon I’ve known personally has been a fine person.

Sorry ... not buying that.

Go ahead and believe Romney wants the current morass to continue if you like (I don't) but even if you do Congress serves as a check.

A Republican Congress might serve as a check on a demonicRat President ... it will serve as a rubber-stamp to a Republican President.

So ... I'm voting for John Raese for Senate. I haven't decided whether to vote for my current congressthing ... it is turning increasingly leftist.
