Defense asks for Zimmerman judge to be knocked off case

George Zimmerman’s defense attorney filed a motion Friday asking that the judge on his case be disqualified.

Claiming the judge has shown bias and made disparaging remarks about Zimmerman, attorney Mark O’Mara said he “no longer has faith” in Seminole County Circuit Judge Kenneth R. Lester.

I still will never understand why Mark O'Mara ever requested that Judge Jessica Reckseidler step aside. That made no sense to me.

So she is married to a law partner of Mark Nejame who recommended Mark O'Mara. So what???

And if Mark Mejame was going to be a CNN commenter on this case. So what??? The onus would be on him not on Reckseidler. I think O'Mara did it for Mark Nejame's sake not George's.

If he acts even more biased and political after this, he’ll cause real professional problems for himself and the integrity of the trial. He’s already decided Zimmerman is guilty and has done all he could do to harm Zimmerman’s reputation, so MOM has nothing to lose in exposing his problem to public scrutiny.

He has mugging for the klan with the tan mob in his courtroom and in the media. But he forgets that there are also many others watching who are not impressed with Dem party racist lynch mobs and their media spin. He thinks he’s safe with political and inJustice Department backing, but he is going to see those politicans scramble like cockroaches when this thing is exposed as another Leftist witch hunt as happened at Duke.

Even if he torques the judge...if the judge does not recuse himself...a conviction will be overturned on appeal

Lester’s wife was the prosecutor for Zimmerman’s assault charge against his ex. Lester knew this, and took the case anyway. He took the case knowing full well he had a major conflict of interest

There has obviously been a move afoot by the “injustice system” and by the biased “we must take the guns from average American serfs” as has been pushed by the Bloombergs and other NYC elites that own the media as well as our politicians in their pocket to portray Zimmerman as a bogeyman. There has been much propaganda used against this.

What should worry us all is once the elites use their vast wealth to buy off the gun lobbies and their puppets in Congress, there will be nothing stopping them from stripping or reevaluating our 2nd Amendment. Make no mistake that many of the elite do not want millions of Americans owning firearms.

Any other city would have to bear the costs of security and disruptions. They can bring in a jury from outside if it gets that far, however, since racial discrimination has bee dismissed by the FBI, what they need is just a fair balanced unbiased judge to hear George Zimmerman with an open mind and then dismiss the case at a SYG hearing -- and then it's over.
