At a Capitol Hill press conference on Thursday, Minority Leader Pelosi said, As you know, yesterday, once again for the thirtieth-some, I dont know, thirty-something time, the Republicans tried to take away protections for patients in our country: whether the little baby born with a birth defect, a child with a disability, or asthma, cancer, diabetes; theres the senior whos getting prescription drugs much less expensive because of the Affordable Care Act, or free wellness examinations once a year."

Pelosi IS a “birth defect” and the GOP’s war against Barry’s government run healthfailure hasn’t seem to hurt her any.

Government is the most dangerous, destructive, corrupt force on earth, but we are supposed to have religious faith in it.
Hmmm.

...Republicans tried to take away protections for patients in our country: whether the little baby born with a birth defect, a child with a disability, or asthma, cancer, diabetes...Yet she and Democrats are perfectly fine with abortion and taking the very life of a baby away.
Got it. Duplicity noted.

The Federal government has no right to redistribute my money for this. Or shouldn’t anyway.

Pelosi, Michelle O. and Barrack O. know nothing of the art of medicine. They want to put layer upon layer of bureaucrats in the mix so that much of the cost of medical care goes to those bureaucrats who have no training in medicine. Already much of the innovation of American medicine is a thing of the past due to strangulation from regulations.

I explained this to a USCCB official way back in 2009
Mrs. Don-o' Letter to USCCB (Link) and it turns out that everything I said is true, with the exception that costs have gone up even faster than anticpated.
Obamacare is STILL not a good way to help the little baby with the defect whose paents have no resources. I would recommend applying to a pediatric philanthropy, of which there are hundreds. At most hospital,-- assuming corrective surgery wasn't already covered by Medicaid --- the private or pro-bono arrangements could be secured within days of the baby's birth --- sooner, if immediate surgical intervention were required.
Do click on that link. it's worth it, I think.

I explained this to a good fellow at the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops way back in 2009 ----
Mrs. Don-o's Letter to USCCB (Link) ----and it turns out that everything I said is true, with this exception: it has all happened even faster than antcipated. Costs have gone up, the private sector has been undermined and has become frighteningly destabilized, and the religious and conscience protections have disintegrated.
MAN, that was fast.
Obamacare is STILL not a good way to help the little baby with the defect whose parents have no resources. I would recommend applying to a pediatric philanthropy, of which there are hundreds. At most hospitals-- assuming corrective surgery wasn't already covered by Medicaid --- the private or pro-bono arrangements could be secured within days of the baby's birth --- sooner, if immediate surgical intervention were required.

One has to wonder if Mrs. Pelosi really believes some of the things that come out of her mouth. She really invites someone to answer her with the same inapt & sham reasoning.
For example, she mentions one free "wellness" examination a year? The plantation slaves in the Old South, got two free "wellness" examinations a year. That makes Mrs. Pelosi & Obama "pikers" in comparison.

“And that little baby born with a birth defect would have made a fine sacrifice to Lord Moloch, who consumes such burnt offerings and gives us in return wealth and power!”, she ranted, with a glazed, fanatical look in her eyes.
