PORTLAND – Court documents obtained by KGW Tuesday outline details of the kidnapping, stabbing and strangling of a 10-year-old boy in a restaurant’s restroom.
According to the affidavit, the victim's family was on the way home from from a camping trip and got a flat tire, which was why they stopped. They initially parked at the Les Schwab next door to the Wendy's, but the store wasn't open. Then, they boy walked over to the Wendy's on Northeast Sandy Blvd. to go to the restroom, while an older cousin waited outside.
Charges filed into court allege Adam Brown, 49, trapped the boy in the restroom and stabbed him in the neck, hands, and legs while trying to sexually assault him.
The affidavit described how the boy went to the restroom and Brown locked the door. Then, it said that Brown ordered the boy to take his clothes off at knifepoint. The boy screamed and fought back and was able to eventually get out after he had been stabbed at least six times, the court document said.
Patrons pushed against the bathroom door, trapping Brown inside until police arrived and evacuated the restaurant.
Brown, already a paroled sex offender, threatened he had a gun. leading to a standoff with police. Documents said Brown asked to call his parents because he "was going to prison ... because I hurt the kid."
He surrendered about two hours later.
Two fires had also been set in the restroom, documents showed.
In all, Brown faces attempted aggravated murder, six counts of assault, attempted sex abuse, kidnapping, strangulation and reckless burning.
The boy had to have emergency surgery after the terrifying attack and is now recovering at home, family members said.

Situations like this are pretty much cut and dried, the perp caught bloody handed so to speak.
Its seems it would benefit almost everyone except the perp to just summarily execute them, toss them in a giant woodchipper (Optional) and recycle them by dropping their “remains” in a deep hole and seal it.
It would make a lot of illegals think twice about drunk driving.. and probably save a few lives to boot.. altho perps like this one are gonna do what they do regardless.

IMHO, and not that I have any special insight, there are two "types" of gays.
There are those who are "Born that Way". IMHO, it's some sort of chemical imbalance, or some form of reinforced behavior. (or both) Ancedotally, the people that I know who are like this seem to be more comfortable with their lifestyle choices... "I'm gay. If you can't deal with it, that's YOUR problem." - type behavior. Nothing in your face, being gay is just another facet of their person, like being left-handed, or having red hair.
Please note that I'm not a biologist and this is nothing but my own opinion.
Then, there is a smaller subset (these are the people whose Pride Parade photos you see on FR....) where it's strictly behavioral. These people are attention-seeking drama queens who thrive on the attention devoted to them for being just outside of the norm. I think that IF they could get more attention with some other form of behavior, while simultaneously maintaining their social status.... then they'd drop the whole "flaming gay" lifestyle like a hot rock.
Finally, I think that you might not have any control over who you're attracted to. However, the sex act in and of itself, is simple behavior. And, easily controlled. Trouble is, gays (and too many straights) don't differentiate between the two.

I believe I’m always striving for truth, and... popularity? Okay. Most of the people on this thread, and the important people in my life, hold your view, so that kind of blows your theory. I’m also as ignorant as a lemon meringue pie about popular culture.

Since public bathroom doors usually open inward, this would only have worked if the patrons were in the bathroom with the assailant.
It wouldn’t be at all a surprise if dysfunctions and mental illnesses cluster. Someone said that the border between even genius and madness is a fine line — and a stereotype borne out in many “gays” is that they often seem to be bright and sensitive people if you look beyond the stupidity of their sex lives. Humans are not blind automatons, however. They have the capability of the mysterious thing we call choice.
Most interesting, and I don’t think of your opinion as a rant at all. I only know one homosexual from childhood to the age of 31, and he believes he chose to be that way. I think he was born that way, as does my family, and that is based on our observations.
On the other hand, his partner of several years seems to me like he’s of the “peacock” variety, who made a choice. I don’t know what he was like as a child, but he feels he was born that way. Go figure!

Nonetheless. in a less indulgent family and society, the lad may not have been allowed, or at least as easily, to become such a flamer. Whether somebody can be born with gay genes has yet to be proven (even identical twins do not always have the same fate in their sex lives) but people are born with souls and wills.

The interesting question is what causes some people to be tempted to follow it. I have always been a bit of a lecher myself, but I have never been tempted in the slightest to do what these creatures are doing. So, it is not just behavior and temptation, there is something different about these people. And I am curious what it is.
