Good morning, Meg ((HUGS))
So...you got rain too? And it’s only 73 this morning? Bet you’re loving that?
Good morning, night owl ((HUGS))
I see you are up and having some tea (party?).
WOO HOO you got rain too!
Enjoy your day off.
Like we say, “If you don’t like the weather, just wait a few minutes”. Of course, we have been in a severe drought for a couple of years now.
Well, hope there is no damage or injuries, but the rain will benefit in helping the regrowth of the lost trees.
Howdy, EGC! (((hugs)))
It’s going well...have a day off and it rained! :)
Hope you and Bo are doing well and have a chance to get to the lake soon!
I was yearning for a screened porch last night..It would have been fun to sleep out! Yes I love the rain and the cool.
Actually, this is shaping up like it did several years ago. All the heavy rains have been below Mansfield Dam, so it misses Lake Travis.
Flooding downstream and then some heavy rain in the hill country could send Travis out of the flood pool again.
Once the lower parts of the Colorado flood, the LCRA won’t let more water out of the dams until the flooding subsides.
Well, any rain we can get is a good thing right now. My brother
said that Houston is faring better this summer than last year, too. Maybe God is answering our many, many prayers!
I know what you mean! We pay $3.47 down here on the border, but it's only $3.21 70 miles away in Tucson. They tell us the extra cost has to do with recouping the expense of trucking the gas down here. Baloney. Just sayin'...
Good morning, E...((HUGS))...hope you and Bo have a not too hot day. It’s drizzling here right now.
I have been asked to pass this along to the folks here in the Canteen....
“tell them mystery-ak’s hubby finally retired from the USArmy...but son Jonathan is still in....thank you if you can do that for me.”
So, there ya are!
Happy Tuesday, tom....any break in your heat?
We are getting a little bit of gentle rain in fits and starts.
Are the pings right, or is my memory fogged?
Anyway, congrats on the retirement. It’s a whole new world, out here.
And covering prayers continue for Jonathan.
Yup, we got a brak in the temps...back to normal for a few days:80-85.
No rain, tho. I got CRUNCHY grass! Haven't cut it in almost 2 months now.
You did good. I would have never remembered! :)
Thanks Kathy!

So glad to see most everyone survived the DNSChanger episode earlier this week. It turned out they did shut off the servers Early Monday morning EDT.
No, we didn't get any rain here in Comanche OK however some places around us did. More is in the forecast and there are some showers and storms across parts of Northern and Western OK as I type this.
My nose felt a little stuffy this morning. I turned off the AC this morning to see if if would calm down. I have the AC back on now.
Thanks to both of the for their service. I retired earlier this year after 39 1/2 years.
