On Friday, Fox News Channel’s hosts of The Five weighed in on comments made by actor Morgan Freeman who said that President Barack Obama cannot be considered America’s first black president because he is half-white. In a rare moment of agreement between co-hosts Bob Beckel and Greg Gutfeld, Beckel said that he thought Freeman’s comments were “unhelpful” and Gutfeld agreed that they were “race-baiting.”
After playing a clip of Freeman making those comments on National Public Radio, Beckel said “that’s true.”
“I’m not allowed to call him mulatto, right,” Beckel asked to which The Five hosts responded that he could not in near unison.
“My question is, now that Morgan Freeman says he is not, does that mean the 87 percent support amongst the black community erodes,” asked Bolling.
“Why are we even doing this,” asked Kimberly Guilfoyle. “It’s ridiculous and it’s demeaning. I find this to not be helpful. I don’t know why Morgan Freeman is doing this because he is being racially divisive.
This is race-baiting. I don’t like it at all.” Guilfoyle said that she encounters racial parsing herself as a person of Puerto Rican and Irish heritage.

Beckel and Freeman, wallowing in their Democrat race obsessions about what color the president is or isn’t.
He’s a communist. He’s an incompetent, even by communist standards. He’s an atheist, an islamophile, he is a wrecking ball, he is a card-board-cut-out pantomime fraud of a president.
And they are worried what color he is. Good Lord.

The headline would be “Four of The Five’s Hosts Agree...” if Juan Williams had been filling in for Beckel.
Is Fox News every going to actually broadcast news ever again. All they are is a 24/7 pundit show. The channel should be renamed Fox Talk Shows.
I get more news in one hour on my local TV station than I get from watching 24 hours of Fox. Of course, they only have 8 shows on and they repeat them in tripplicate to fill the day.
When CNN was new, they actually covered news. I missed the years Fox actually broadcast news. Now, they just suck. Hannity is a homer. Greta van Greta is next to worthless most of the time. Shepherd Smith is a joke. That idiot bloviator guy who’s name slipped out of my head & I’m not going to bother to search, he is big freaking RINO most of the time.
Fox sucks. They all suck. Fox is just the best of a bad lot.
There is no news. It is just all pundits and talking heads and even worse, they all appear on each others shows so it is just all the same talking heads over again.
Glen Beck was the only Fox show I watched regularly, taped even (DVR), and I’ve barely watched the Fox Talking Head Inane Jackass Punditry channel since.
And that was before they became one-note shills for Romney. And you can be sure Romney is going to push us into the New World Order just as fast as Baby Bush or any other Republican. Romney may not be an in-your-face treasonous commie like Obama, but he is most certainly another New World Order, open borders, praise the UN, save the word, kinder compassionate RINO.

I work with a young man whose father is white and whose mother is black. This guy is about as easy-going as you can get, and absolutely comfortable moving about as a black or a caucasian. A true joy to know and work with.
Glen Beck was the only thing I watched on Fox and I haven't watched them since. He was one of the few that did any real reporting. Without him, they all just repeat one anothers' talking points.
So, I agree with your take on Fox. Fox may be slightly less awful than their competition but they are pretty lame just the same. Less lame than the competition isn't much of an incentive to tune in, I'm afraid.

Well, he is not “black” in the way that Freeman is black, and not just because he is half white. It is that he was RAISED white, and joined the black community by marrying a black woman.
Morgan Freeman has caught the celebrity disease, a malady which leads people who can act to believe they know everything.
Curious: does he look black or does he look white? Does he have some physical characteristis of both?
Why do we care about Obamas race? is policies are what I hate. the fact that he is black is probably his best trait!
Obama can’t be the first black president because Toni Morrison already anointed Bill Clinton as the first black president but, given the same type of liberal logic, Obama can lay claim to being the first gay president.
Freeman is from Mississippi. He knows a black person when he sees him.
He is Arab, not African. That’s part of his lie.
