And of course, the most important thing, is to remember to vote republican this November, because that will make such a big difference in how this country is run.
Do I really need a sarcasm tag?
This was a political decision by the court, just like the Arizona decision was. The Obama administration dared the court to go against it, and the court blinked, big time. I welcome many of you to the realization that the Republic ceased to exist long ago.
>It means you are not being forced to buy anything. Only that you have an option not to, but must pay a tax if you dont.<
I fail to see the difference, but then again, I’m not as smart as John Roberts < /S>.
Bravo for Justice Thomas and the conservative minds on the Supreme Court.
Actually, it was 5-4. Kennedy voted with Alito, Scalia, & Thomas. OK, I thought I was going to throw up when I heard; HOWEVER, perhaps there is a silver lining.
1. Obama has passed the LARGEST tax increase in the history of our Republic. Get the commercials ready using his own words. 2. Obama can't fire up his "folk" with the meme that 4 white guys and an Uncle Tom took away your health care. 3. Congress can't penalize the States for not expanding their Medicaid funding.
We need to get fired up, get mobilized and hammer this. Removing Obama and 2010 Redux is our only hope. IMHO
I was just thinking guns are next and I’m getting one for sure now.
My advice to people is buckle up for a bumpy ride. Pay off your debts, and secure your guns. Leave nothing out there that the government can get it’s grimy hands on.
They were. I never saw this coming. I actually thought some of the liberals would join the conservatives.
Now we have yet another reason to vote Obama out...can you imagine the power Kathleen Sebelius, that icy authoritarian, will have under this law if Obama gets a second term?
Big sigh...........can someone PLEASE explain to this simple minded woman what on earth is going ON????
IF this ball was just batted back into the hands of CONGRESS, IS IT NOT yet still in PLAY???
Please tell me yes!!! and then CONGRESS CAN vote it down. That will still be a painful blow to Obama, and the left RIGHT??
“In other words, as everyone feared, it really only came down to what side of the bed Kennedy woke up on. Right? Kennedy.”
I wish that had been the case: Kennedy voted with Scalia, Thomas and Alito to declare the entire law unconstitutional. Roberts joined the four liberals to uphold the mandate as a tax.
In other words we can’t make you do anything, but we can damn sure make you wish you had.
“My wife is busy watching the stock market plummet.”

Me too. It seems to ratchet downward every 10 minutes as the implications of this disaster sink in.
That said, if the DJIA were any REAL indication of the direction this country is heading, it would have rocketed downward to well below 5000 on the day this POS RaceMarxist was elected.
A special place in hell awaits Roberts. What a disappointment.
I suppose the silver lining is that our side can’t possibly be any more motivated than this.
It means the govt. can’t force you to buy health insurance, but they can tax you if you don’t.
This ruling and the repeal of Bush/Obama tax cuts will ruin the economy. Hopefully it’s enough to stop Oturds re-election. Then we can work on starving the beast.
Emphasize ammo there. The Obama plan is to get rid of ammo, since it’s easier than getting rid of the 2nd Amendment. I had heard that Soros was buying ammo manufacturing companies. Get lots of ammo while you can, America.
Time to armor up. Queue Tony Stark:
If we cant protect the Earth, you can be damn sure we’ll avenge it.
Only in an alternate universe would I ever expect to see Roberts voting with the four crazy leftists.
I had him pegged wrong. Extremely wrong.
God help our nation!
>>Sickening. Time to emmigrate.
Emigrate where? America was the last bastion of liberty. Stop retreating and fight!
Bunch of cowards.
Wonder what they have on Roberts.
