Big sigh...........can someone PLEASE explain to this simple minded woman what on earth is going ON????
IF this ball was just batted back into the hands of CONGRESS, IS IT NOT yet still in PLAY???

Please tell me yes!!! and then CONGRESS CAN vote it down. That will still be a painful blow to Obama, and the left RIGHT??

I don’t think it was batted anywhere. ACA is upheld (with the exception of the Medicaid provision). End of story as far as I can tell.

I would think congress could kill the “tax”, with simple majority votes in House and Senate. That won’t be possible til after the election. And we need a President that will sign it as well.

From the 80,000 ft level, we’re moving into a situation in this country where Presidents will swear to uphold the laws, and then after elections do whatever they want to not uphold laws. How can any country survive that kind of a government ...

Congress has always had the power to repeal or replace this law and the GOP House voted to repeal in 2011 and that vote died in Harry Reid's Senate.

If this is going to be undone, it must be done by Congress. That means in November Republicans need to sweep Obama and Dems out as much as possible.

The "individual mandate" is OK as a tax according the High Court. Obama claimed it wasn't a tax; he lied.

Other than something dealing with state MediCaid programs, the law appears to have been upheld as is.

If you don't like it, you know who to vote for and who to donate to: GOP candidates, including Romney, and conservative Super PACs.

I'm disturbed because of the economic impact the law appears to have had on employers.
