SOUP FOR THE TROOPS

Good morning, Everyone.
Good morning to our
Military, our Allies, and their families.
Thank you, Ma, for preparing the Canteen for today's activities
Really like that photo called River Route.
It looks almost like a portrait.
~ Today...Sunny...Hot with highs in the upper 90s.

When female wasps return to the colony after foraging,
they may initiate aggressive encounters with males
and stuff them head first into empty nest cells.
Cornell University researchers who observed the behavior
call it "male-stuffing,"
and believe it contributes to the colony's fitness
by making more food available to larvae.
The word "robot" was coined in 1920
in a play, R.U.R. (the initials stood for "Rossum's Universal Robots"),
written by Czech dramatist Karel Capek.
The word was made up by his brother Josef .
When Karel was writing his play,
he couldn't decide on a name for these artificial creatures.
Originally, he proposed the word "labors."
Josef proposed "robots," coming from the word "robota,"
which means "work" in Czech and other Slavic languages, including Russian.
Researchers have determined that 1 acre of potatoes
can yield 1,200 gallons of ethyl alcohol in a year.
I've got to make my rounds.
But, you stay right where you are.
Keep the troops entertained and the Canteen clean...
Cause...if you don't...I'll tell Ma!
And you know how she can be
Yes, we are
Come in and sit for a while.
There's always plenty of coffee, tea,
pancakes, conversation, silliness,
and plain old BS
PLEASE REMEMBER THEM ....
