Sunny...Hot with highs in the upper 90s.

We'll have a hot time in the city today! 90s! UGH!
The kind of temps where you need to be in the pool.
All you guyz that work outside, be safe,
drink plenty of liquids (no brewskies, until after work).

Guess I need to get started on my rounds. Still quiet around here.

I saw that you had her at the vets.

We are high enough - barely. We’re no immediate risk, but the roads in the area have a history of washing out from overflow of the Alafia River.

Usually it doesn’t happen, but a major rain event like a tropical storm would easily do it. Given that we are desperately dry, it will take a LOT of rain before the ground can’t absorb it all.

Just her annual check up, heartworm test, vaccinations, etc.

No Big woof.

But he was so agitated they had to put a MUZZLE on her! Eek!

We check people into facilities for events, the campgrounds, and make sure people in parks have the proper stickers on their windshields.

There are nine lakeside parks that we have to check and it is about six miles from one end to the other. Most have access controlled gates that use electronic cards.

There is also a swimming pool we have to secure at night, but there are pool attendants during the daytime hours.
