News report on Fox. Gun and ammo sales "through the roof" just in case we see an overtly communist Obama in a second term. Cheaper Than Dirt spokesman says all US ammo production already spoken for through the rest of the year. Gun ranges maxed out with shooters.

Interesting. If Obama gets a second term we will see some real interesting conflicts of interest.

Maybe the Mexican Druglords will sell us some of our ammo back.
IRONY? The new border ‘trafficking’ will be arms and ammo being brought IN to the US.

Glad I stocked up on primers, powder, and projectiles when prices weren’t insane.

The title is misleading. You can still get surplus ammo.

No problem, I prepared for Obama during the Clinton years.

I stocked up after the supplies came back to normal after last election and glad I did. Spent about 7 gran but now have all the ammo I will ever need, and for my kids, and for my grandkids. They will never want for ammo for any reason when the caribou show up; one less thing to think about.

I just ordered a case of 9mm and 12ga slugs this morning from CTD - no problem. Good prices too. Ammo may be allocated but it’s still abundant.

I made the rounds of the local shops last weekend and I can attest that they were just crawling with buyers in a way I haven't seen since '09. In one shop I never did succeed in getting near the counter, such was the crush of people filling out paperwork. Buyers looked to be split 50/50 men and women. What was moving was mostly .40 pistols, ARs and pump shotties.
It made me proud to be an American. There aren't many things that do anymore.

My allocation:
1: Prevention of tyranny
(”Local” all the way up to “world”).
2: Protection from Russian mob and immigrants in N.E. Philadelphia.
(They are well armed and organized).
3: Protection from hungry “dis-entitled” when funding stops.
(They are armed, stupid, and already here).

Aye. We all love to talk guns, but Big Brother is definitely watching us like a hawk these days. OPSEC is the name of the game.
In case anyone asks, I'm mortally and unreasonably afraid of guns-especially scary black ones-and contact with ammo makes my psoriasis act up. I only trawl gun shops so that I can feel superior to all those cretins who think they need big scary guns to feel like real men. But I can't stay long because I get itchy. ;-P

I joined a local pistol club 18 months ago. Their range is resticted to no FMJ, no rifles above .22 and 50 ft. target distance only. It's like $20 per year. I figured what the heck. Good for pistol practice.
The meeting I joined at, there were 7 new applicants for membership.
My wife joined just this past March. At that meeting there were 40 new applicants for membership. Things are heating up at the grassroots level for sure.

These are orders for distributors.

At the gun range this past weekend there were a high percentage of assault type rifles, relatively few traditional hunting rifles.

Two thinks funny about that pic.
First, the name of the boat.
Second, the fact that it is tied off. Wouldn’t want to lose it, donchaknow.
