SANFORD, Fla. (MCT) For weeks, the death of Trayvon Martin, the investigations it launched and the civil rights rallies it spurred were the most important news stories in the country, according to pollsters. At least six news organizations or polling companies did surveys. What they documented, in general, was that people were fascinated and outraged by the Feb. 26 death of the unarmed 17-year-old and angry at the shooter, Neighborhood Watch volunteer George Zimmerman. Two sets of findings, though, stand out: Although it was the No. 1 story in the country overall, twice as many blacks as whites singled it out as the country's most important story, according to the Pew Research Center for the People & the Press. And as time has passed and more evidence has been released, people's feelings about Zimmerman have eased. In late March, while people were still marching in the streets demanding his arrest, 33 percent of the country believed Zimmerman was guilty of murder, according to a poll by Rasmussen Reports. ... Thanks, but you’ve exemplified rather than defined leftism.
This issue draws out the stealthy ones in a heartbeat.
Amen to that!
I don’t know the motivations behind George and Shelley so some of the questions will just have to wait.
I DO know the motivations behind Angela Corey.
And I know that she edited out from the court record the critical part of Shelley’s testimony, which was live and recorded so people had a way to catch her at it. If she was willing to do that, I have no doubts that she would be willing to edit out parts from a secret phone recording that nobody CAN hold her accountable on.
The trust issue does come into account for Zimmermans. But it also comes into account for Angela Corey, and of the 2 court filings I know of that she filed.... TWO have been perjurious. If I had to choose whether to trust her account or the Zimmermans’, I’d trust the Zimmermans in a heartbeat, given their respective track records.
The point, is that it’s IRRELEVANT whether or not he was on “neighborhood watch patrol” (something that doesn’t really exist - neighborhood watch is constant).
The only waffler here is you.
So you mean you were flying off the handle based on a false premise? Perhaps you should do a little research.
This isnt a screen capture, but its an article on the original website, which quotes the original text from the website:

Thank you! So now the real case against Zimmerman is weak sauce we have this is a main issue now, huh? The prosecution has not underestimated the low IQ of the public I see. Including some undercover trolls on FR.

The “rightists” have your number on this, so happy trayvonning!
It clearly reads, "for living expenses and legal defense..." For all to read and digest.
“The only waffler here is you.”
“Waffler” implies another side.
They sure do waste a lot of time trying to convince us that they are “rightists,” but can’t help revealing themselves as intolerant racist leftists on this issue, believing and repeating endlessly the latest lies they heard anywhere except for *FOX*, which they of course KNOW is right wing.
Their hate and ignorance are our reward.
i want to know where is Zimmerman’s attorney? I know he’s fighting in court but damn he better realize this is a case that needs to be fought in the media as well. He should have associates sending out releases about the website containing the words living expenses along with Z’s statement about using the money for bills etc.
O’Mara had no issue being on TV discussing the Casey Anthony case where is his TV presence on this? Again, he needs to at least fight some of these media/pr tactics by the POS prosecutor.
Thanks, American.
Great find on the link proving Z’s solicitation included LIVING EXPENSES as well as legal expenses.
If you personally are not a Democrat Underground troll, and if you are not here to raise cain with cral you personally know to be untrue...
You will now link for all of us a contemporaneous story on Zimmerman’s original website quoting its wording and countering the stories put up when his site went live which all show he asked for living expenses.
Personally, I think you can post mo such link because you are typical viking kitty fare, but go ahead. Come up with a link. Prove the crap you are spouting isn’t typical made up leftwing vomit.
I think you may be in serious (and character-damaging) error. When you look at what Yahoo Published (click on the link on Post 34 above) where Zimmerman writes regarding his first appeal:

George Zimmerman launches website for donations via PayPal for legal, living expenses
By Dylan Stableford, Yahoo! News | The Cutline Mon, Apr 9, 2012
Trayvon Martin shooter George Zimmerman has apparently launched a websiteTheRealGeorgeZimmerman.comto relay a message thanking his supporters, and to collect donations via PayPal for his living and defense expenses. The site had been down intermittently on Monday afternoon.
>> "I am the real George Zimmerman," a message on the site begins.
>> "On Sunday February 26th, I was involved in a life altering event
>> which led me to become the subject of intense media coverage.
>> As a result of the incident and subsequent media coverage,
>> I have been forced to leave my home, my school, my employer,
>> my family and ultimately, my entire life. This website's sole purpose
>> is to ensure my supporters they are receiving my full attention without
>> any intermediaries."
More from Zimmerman's site:
>> "It has come to my attention that some persons and/or entities have been
>> collecting funds, thinly veiled as my 'Defense Fund' or 'Legal Fund'.
>> I cannot attest to the validity of these other websites
>> as I have not received any funds collected, intended to support my family
>> and I through this trying, tragic time."
>> "I have created a Paypal account solely linked on this website
>> as I would like to provide an avenue to thank my supporters personally
>> and ensure that any funds provided are used only for living expenses
>> and legal defense, in lieu of my forced inability to maintain employment.
>> I will also personally, maintain accountability of all funds received.
>> I reassure you, every donation is appreciated."
>> Sincerely,
>> George Zimmerman
(My emphases in the text above)

Does that answer the question as to whether you are right or wrong in your comment as quoted above?
We should all take note that:
(1) Some unsolicted (hopefully well-meaning?) funds collectors may have made other promises to which Zimmer does not have to answer.
(2) There has been a revision to the narrower restrictions on the funds, now perhaps only accepted (not collected), of which his defense team will be responsible and accountable. Promises made now cannot be made to apply to promises made regarding his earlier, broader solicitation.
(3) Commingling of funds solicited by the first letter would have been subjected to division at his own directed apportionment, which provision would have been in effect up until the revision of his commitment of further funds. They are now being designated only for legal expenses. This was, of course, poor judgment in early management of his receipts, and has led to misunderstandings, it appears.
It does not readily seem that Zimmerman and/or his wife had an intention to divide unconditional contributions other than which he first indicated and proposed. He may well have budgeted an portion for living expenses imminent or outstanding, with the remainder for case costs coming due farther on; the remainder being reported to the judge as the assigned amount apportioned for legal expenses. Was he lying to the judge? Not on that basis, neither being unfaithful to his supporters, eh?
There is simply no need for arguing about this, especially when wrong presumptions are proposed. It might be good for all to stop this. This is irrelevant to and should not materially affect proof of his innocence of the murder charge, IMHO as a bystander and observer.
But unfortunately, Hugin, it looks like your position is indefensible and untenable? How about checking this out for yourself, and come back with proof that my thesis is wrong?
Respectfully suggested --
Great insight! Thanks!
Thank you OneMiddleAmerican. I appreciate it.
Some say he never operated in that capacity. Strangely enough, his old Neighborhood watch person said he did a great job in that capacity. Perhaps they had another name for it.
On the night in question, you may be right. If you never worked a day in your life in a neighborhood watch capacity, I’d have your back if you approached someone in your neighborhood that peaked your concerns.
If you were attacked, thrown to the ground, and your head was beaten against the ground, I would back you using lethal force.
Now you may have decided never to approach someone like that in your neighborhood. That doesn’t mean it wouldn’t be right to, if a person had legitimate concerns.
Gotta get him SOMEHOW, eh?
Interesting use of “skimming” by multiple parties today — Hussein Heads got our of an anti-Z meeting frothing to hurt Z, because even as the almighty media is reporting today, “opinion is shifting” in this case.
Shameless Hussein Heads just can’t help themselves.
Well done.
Thus endeth their concerted “skimming” attack agenda du jour.
The same poll showed that fewer than half that number 15 percent believed Zimmerman had acted in self-defense.
Two months later, however, those numbers had flip-flopped. In a May 19-20 Rasmussen poll, 40 percent said they believed Zimmerman had acted in self-defense vs. 24 percent who called him a murderer.

Thanks for mentioning this -- I would have posted more, but in making it up, the posting routine warned me that for JWR only excerpts were permitted, so I only dared print part of the article before redirecting.
There has been a lot of excitement and vituperation over aspects that were only barely tangent to the most important trend in this Martin/Zimmerman issue, which is -- where was opinion at beginning, what turns has it taken, where is it now; but more prescient, where is it headed going up to the trial date? THEN what?
But your note here has finally drawn attention back to the theme of the article's title and subject. Wish there had been more comment on it.
Thanks!
“Oh good grief. How would you feel if you went to his web site, saw the promise it would go to his legal costs, donated with that in mind, and then saw this report.”
Proven FALSE.
