Video from 1994 has surfaced of David Axelrod, President Obamas chief campaign strategist, calling former President George H.W. Bush out of touch for tastelessly playing golf while trying to convince voters that the economy is improving.
Bush tastelessly did it, often from the ninth hole, and from the cigar boat and other places, Axelrod said.
Added the adviser: The impression you got was that he was out of touch.
Throughout his presidency, Obama has been known to hit the links nearly every week.
Axelrod explained in the 1994 interview that if you cite these statistics that say the economy is improving, you almost do political damage to yourself.
If you stand up and claim great progress, you are only frustrating this alienated middle class more, he said.

The list, Ping
Let me know if you would like to be on or off the ping list
The Left will say anything to further their power. It is all about power.
Eeeexcellent catch!!!
This will be on the evening news anywhere.
Oh yeah, I am awake.
LOL
Axelrod in '94 Undercuts His Strategy Today
In 1994, the unemployment rate was 6.!%...a rate Axelface and the Bummer would kill for right now. (When W was in office in ‘09, it was 5.8%, even better than his father’s economy.) So much for blaming the Bushes for this mess.
Just an aside. Axelrod fits the visual profile one would expect from three types:
1) A grade B movie where they need somebody that looks vaguely like Hitler,
2) A 1950s porno actor who wears his wifebeater T shirt and black socks (with sock suspenders) while performing,
3) A parent’s worst nightmare - a whacko child molester/overcoat flasher.
Honestly, to me that’s what he looks like.
Anyone have the number of times he attendended church in the same time period so we can do a comparison.
He also looks like somebody’s giving him a Lewinsky.
Only 100 rounds of golf for this prez, so far.
Which rag/mag was it that questioned whether the presidency is too big of a job for just one man in order to support Hussein?
The Washington Post newspaper AND Newsweek magazine...
But I repeat myself.
