The question is, why was it made such a huge news story? The arrest of Mrs. Zimmerman may backfire on the prosecutor.

This whole article reads as a tactic admission by the leftmedia that their propaganda campaign was less effective than they had hoped.

wow, and this after the guy revealed himself to be less than 100% truthful with the bail flap.
Not good for the Obama team.

Yeah, let's just dispense with the cost of trials and commission public opinion polls to decide these things. < / sarcasm >

I think the images bear out its a pretty even battle, in terms of body size and mass, Irby said. But you know, Skittles versus a gun, theres no fairness in that alignment. Only a Urnalist would continue to flog that mule at this point in the game.

The defense only needs to do one thing i.e. call Alan Dershowitz as a witness:
"You're widely recognized as one of America's top legal experts?"
"Yes"
"And you expressed an opinion on this case in public media?"
"Yes"
"And the general thrust of this opinion was?"
That the prosecutor had no case at all and was basically out to lunch."
"And the prosecutor's reaction to that was?"
"She threatened to sue Harvard University...."
You get the idea. This lunatic prosecutor needs to be flipping burgers next to Mike Nifong at the golden arches.

I find it hard to believe that the prosecutor hasn’t known all along that she was going to lose the case. I suspect she has been offered some reward if she goes to court, anyway. Watch out for her making some huge, sudden career jump after Zimmerman will have been acquitted.

They understand, in a way that whites do not, what racial profiling is and how dangerous it can be, he said. Shows a real lack of walking in the other man's shoes.
White people get profiled, harassed and feel danger a lot. White people are just not allowed to speak of it.

If someone wants to end profiling they should ask what it is about their behavior that makes other people profile them.

The question is why is ANYONE concerned about what a poll says about this. Isn't it supposed to be about truth and justice?
The media is completely out of control.

This was kind of clarion call that we need some change, some real change in regard to profiling, he said.
********
Yeah, we obviously need more of it. If some cop had stopped trayvon on the basis that a young, black, hooded male wandering around in the early hours is likely up to no good this entire incident could’ve been avoided.
Were it not for political correctness, Trayvon would have been safe and comfy in the back of a police car rather than getting shot for being dumb enough to bring a bag of skittles to a gun fight.

No. It was fists being thrown MMA style versus a gun that remained holstered while Skittles pounded him into the pavement.

This story had so many elements that it just kept percolating for a while, said Michael Remez, a Pew spokesman, questions of race
the adequacy of the police probe. Both of which have been put to rest no thanks to your ilk.

It brought out the stealth leftists at FR, who couldn’t seem to help blowing their cover on this issue.

On Tuesday, Shellie Zimmerman was arrested, and she was charged with perjury. Those things, Irby said, will likely cause public opinion to shift again, this time against Zimmerman.Which was the prosecution's plan after all.

Kenny Irby, a faculty member at The Poynter Institute, a journalism think tank in St. Petersburg, Fla., because people are modulating their opinions based on the staccato-like information that comes out. The Poynter Institute owns the St.Petersburg Times - now called Tampa Bay Times. The staccato-like release of information was intentional. Most of the correct information was filtered through the internet - not newspapers. Drudge was a factor - who happens to be white. As Kenny Irby is a factor - who happens to be black. Not that either man's race has affected their coverage of the story....

I wonder what the public's opinion will be after after listening to the
George Zimmerman jail house calls. And I wonder what the people who contributed to his 'defense fund' will think when they learn they paid off all of Geroge's bills, from his credit cards, to a loan from his mother, to Mrs. Z's nursing school tuition, etc. The only bills not paid were the water bill and car insurance ... because Mrs. Z could not do that online.
