Acts of faith are performed each day in this country, and we are all the better for it. But sadly, Barack Obama does not seem to have faith in the American system, nor does he believe in American exceptionalism, nor does he believe that Americans can make it on their own without government handouts.
In short, Obama doesnt have faith in us.
Faith has become an inflammatory topic in the 2012 election. In policy, speeches and campaign ads, the president has used faith as a means to demagogue his Republican opponent. Faith has been used by the left-wing extremists as a diversionary tactic, to attack Catholics and divert attention from a floundering economy. Faith has been used by Democrats as a political tactic to try to turn women against the Republican party. But, faith plays an even bigger role in the 2012 election than Democrats may realize because every day, the president shows a lack of faith that reveals his distain for America.
For example, Barack Obama does not seem to understand that every small business that opens its door is the result of a profound act of faith. An entrepreneur believes in himself and his idea enough to take the risks, sometime to use his lifes savings, to create a better life.
Each time a business hires a new employee, it is an act of faith shown by both partiesthe business believes that it can support the increased staff costs and will grow enough to make the expense worthwhile. The employee shows faith that the business will keep its doors open and offer opportunities for upward mobility.
But each small business also shows its faith when it counts on its government to create a climate with policies that support and encourage that growth.
Obama has shown that he doesnt have faith in small businesses or the judgment of entrepreneurs. Instead he believes that only the government can make wise investment decisions or hire the unemployed.
Obama has shown that he doesnt have faith that investors will do the wise things on their own. And so, he urges his Administration to invent even more restrictive mindboggling regulations al l designed to further the governments ability to manage, direct, and ultimately control private enterprise.
Obama has shown that he doesnt have faith in his fellow American to provide charitably, despite decades of evidence that Americans are the most generous people, the most philanthropically-inclined people, on the history of the world.
We are a nation of faith. America was first discovered, in a profound act of faith, by an explorer, Columbus, who sailed west at a time when most people believed the world was flat. Columbus belief, that the world was not flat, was an act of faith that made our great nation possible.
The colonists who came to America had faith that the new world would be different than the old world. They had faith that with hard work and perseverance, they could build a better life for themselves and their family.
Our founding fathers showed their faith in the principles that founded this great nationto the point where they were willing to lay down their lives to break from England in a belief that the American system of government that they were creating was worth the sacrifice and would stand the test of time. But, Obama doesnt seem to have any faith in the founding fathers belief in limited government.
Abraham Lincoln had faith in the union of the states and fought harder than any during the civil war to keep the nation together, insisting on pardons for Confederate soldiers and determined to move the nation past the great divide of the civil war.
Our nation showed its faith when we sent men to the moon, in an act of faith, so daring, so breathtaking in its scope that it is heartbreaking that our current, faithless presidential leadership has now cancelled the program.
Faith in the future, faith in our children, faith in a better life, faith that one man can make a differencethese are some of the immeasurable gifts that our country gives to the world each day. Our country, its origins, its innovation and its continued success inspire others to action and offers hope to the oppressed throughout the world. Our country is a beacon that attracts people from countless nations to our shores in the hopes of a better life.
Our great leaders and past presidents understood that America is a nation of faith and called upon that faith to bolster the nation during times of hardship.
On the eve of the D-Day Invasion, knowing that America was involved in a great struggle President Roosevelt prayed not for a quick victory, but for faith:Oh Lord, give us faith. Give us faith in thee; faith in our sons; faith in each other; faith in our united crusade. Let not the keenness of our spirit ever be dulled."
There is a wide and growing gulf between our current president and the American people, and that chasm is all about faith, for clearly, Obama has little faith in Americans as a people, capable of all things great and good.
Faith is frightening to Obama because with faith comes hope, and with hope comes independence and a belief in the future, a belief that difficult deeds can be done, and frontiers can be conquered. In sharp contrast, Barack Obama believes that Americans should place all of their hope and faith in the government rather than in themselves.
America is a faith-based nation, and whether the president likes it or not, our country is all the better for it.
Let us not forget that an entrepreneur must also have enought faith to not only take risk that relate directly to his business but also to willingly take local government on his back in the form of excessive & arbitrary start up fees that amount to nothing less than extortion.
Those who have not started a business of their own can have no idea how those who do are being robbed.
The Kenyan has faith in marxism.
The Real Story Behind Rev. Wright's Controversial Black Liberation Theology Doctrine

[special Friday night edition--original airdate May 2, 2008]
(some key excerpts)
["(Jose) Diaz-Balart is the son of Rafael Diaz-Balart y Guitierrez (a former Cuban politician). He has three bothers, Rafael Diaz-Balart (a banker), Mario Diaz-Balart (a US Congressman) and Lincoln Diaz-Balart (also a US Congressman). His aunt, Mirta Diaz-Balart, was Fidel Castro's first wife."
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jose_Diaz-Balart]
JOSE DIAZ-BALART, TELEMUNDO NETWORK: "Liberation theology in Nicaragua in the mid-1980's was a pro-Sandinista, pro-Marxist, anti-U.S., anti-Catholic Church movement. That's it. No ifs, ands, or buts. His church apparently supported, in the mid-'80s in Nicaragua, groups that supported the Sandinista dictatorships and that were opposed to the Contras whose reason for being was calling for elections. That's all I know. I was there.
I saw the churches in Nicaragua that he spoke of, and the churches were churches that talked about the need for violent revolution and I remember clearly one of the major churches in Managua where the Jesus Christ on the altar was not Jesus Christ, he was a Sandinista soldier, and the priests talked about the corruption of the West, talked about the need for revolution everywhere, and talked about 'the evil empire' which was the United States of America."
REV. BOB SCHENCK, NATIONAL CLERGY COUNCIL: "it's based in Marxism. At the core of his [Wright's] theology is really an anti-Christian understanding of God, and as part of a long history of individuals who actually advocate using violence in overthrowing those they perceive to be oppressing them, even acts of murder have been defended by followers of liberation theology. That's very, very dangerous."
SCHENCK: "I was actually the only person escorted to Dr. Wright. He asked to see me, and I simply welcomed him to Washington, and then I said Dr. Wright, I want to bring you a warning: your embrace of Marxist liberation theology. It is contrary to the Gospel, and you need, sir, to abandon it. And at that he dropped the handshake and made it clear that he was not in the mood to dialogue on that point."

Obama's Church: Gospel of Hate
Kathy Shaidle, FrontPageMag.com
Monday, April 07, 2008
In March of 2007, FOX News host Sean Hannity had engaged Obamas pastor in a heated interview about his Churchs teachings. For many viewers, the ensuing shouting match was their first exposure to "Black Liberation Theology"...
Like the pro-communist Liberation Theology that swept Central America in the 1980s and was repeatedly condemned by Pope John Paul II, Black Liberation Theology combines warmed-over 1960s vintage Marxism with carefully distorted biblical passages. However, in contrast to traditional Marxism, it emphasizes race rather than class. The Christian notion of "salvation" in the afterlife is superseded by "liberation" on earth, courtesy of the establishment of a socialist utopia.

Catholics for Marx [Liberation Theology]
By Fr. Robert Sirico
FrontPageMagazine.com | Thursday, June 03, 2004
In the days when the Superpowers were locked in a Cold War, Latin America seethed with revolution, and millions lived behind an iron curtain, a group of theologians concocted a novel idea within the history of Christianity. They proposed to combine the teachings of Jesus with the teachings of Marx as a way of justifying violent revolution to overthrow the economics of capitalism.
The Gospels were re-rendered not as doctrine impacting on the human soul but rather as windows into the historical dialectic of class struggle. These "liberation theologians" saw every biblical criticism of the rich as a mandate to expropriate the expropriating owners of capital, and every expression of compassion for the poor as a call for an uprising by the proletarian class of peasants and workers.

Rev. Dr. Jeremiah Wright and Dr. William Ayers

Obama believes in Black Liberation Theology and Critical Race Theory. To him, America is based on a system devised by and for white Europeans and he is against it.
In his mind (and according to BLT and CRT), only Marxism can spread the wealth in a way that is just. Meritocracies tilt the scales in the favor of the high achievers (i.e. Europeans, Indians, Orientals)...and that is unfair in Obama's world.
He has a lot of faith. His faith is strong in the belief that America, capitalism and white people are evil. He believes he will destroy it and so far he’s acted on that faith to great effect.
He believes in everything an American scoffs at.
His greatest Enemy is the Enemy of his ideological “father”.
And that Enemy’s Name is Christ.
SEAN HANNITY: But Reverend Jeremiah Wright is not backing down and has not for years and in his strong stance on the teaching of black liberation theology is nothing new. He had the same things to say last spring when he appeared on "Hannity & Colmes:"
WRIGHT: If you're not going to talk about theology in context, if you're not going to talk about liberation theology that came out of the '60s, systematized black liberation theology that started with Jim Cone in 1968 and the writings of Cone and the writings of Dwight Hopkins and the writings of womynist theologians and Asian theologians and Hispanic theologians, then you can't talk about the black value system.
HANNITY: But I'm a reverend
WRIGHT: Do you know liberation theology, sir?

Although it [The New Black Panther Party] says it sees capitalism as the fundamental problem with the world and revolution as the solution, the new party does not draw its influences from Marxism or Maoism as the original party did. Instead, in a carefully-worded, roundabout form of ethnic nationalism,[8] they say that Marx based his ideology and teachings on indigenous African cultures, and that the NBPP therefore need not look to Marxism or Maoism as a basis for their program, but can look to ideologies that stem directly from those African origins.

Most of those at the top of the communist movement aren't really concerned about people. They think they're intellectually superior. They're after personal power and wealth (for themselves).
Not true, he has faith in government power under Dems like him to reshape society to be ‘fairer’, as long as only he gets to control what voters see and hear.
The only thing I take comfort in knowing is that when he finally is out of office, the long knives will come out. All the Democrats he screwed up and over, all the media who he ‘commanded’...once his power to control them is gone, they are going to turn on him like a starving cat on a mouse.
History will not be kind to him. Again, once his power is gone, all those writing the history books will listen not to him, but to those in the Dem party they still must placate. And those are the very people Obama helped destroy.
Nope, God won’t be mocked. But Obama will. We are seeing them turn on him now. Even the NYT and WaPo are running articles critical of him, IMO to endear themselves to the incoming GOP and Romney (and I do not like Romney but even I admit he will be the next Prez.)
And all the bridges he burned with the libs and dems will leave him totally friendless...because the flat out Communists never did react well to failure.
Perhaps God will give America another chance.
Yeah...he’s not a cultural American. Likely born in Kenya...brought up in Indonesia and Hawaii he never really knew the mainland US until long after his personality was formed.
He isn’t one of us...never will be...and it has nothing to do with his race...it’s cultural.
9/11 was a warning. 2008 financial collapse and 0bama’s election were a warning and a judgement.
That was our final warning according to the pattern of judgement.
Listen to these for an analysis of this “Harbinger”:
Obama and Michelle don't give a hoot about anyone else. They just spout the social justice crap because that's the party line and it sounds good to their followers.

Right. It's just a way to achieve personal power, control and wealth. Also celebrity status. Most of these phonies have more money than they know what to do with.
And he said it as clearly as possible with his "In five days we will begin to fundamentally change America". Change it to what? His idea of a social dictatorship with bennies for his buddies and crumbs for the rest of the plebs? He HATES FREE ENTERPRISE. He was raised to hate it and he will die cursing it.
I wouldn't count on that. They'd probably make him out to be a hero, a "great visionary" whose 'failings' were due only to those eee-vil conservatives.
