On Friday in response to a Fox News reporter's question about Obamacare, Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D-TX), a University of Virginia Law graduate, invoked the name of Rodney King calling him a "great philosopher."
Not since Rep. Hank Johnson (D-GA) expressed concern that the addition of 8,000 service personnel and their families onto the island of Guam might cause it to tip over have Americans heard such moronic craziness.
Do we really pay the Queen of Racism $174,000 per year?

It’s one thing to be an idiot.
It’s quite another to elect them to public office.
Whatever happened to electing the most qualified, instead of just anybody from your tribe?
(sigh)

University of Virginia Law graduate And, sadly, her affirmative action admission to this top law school kept some qualified applicant from being admitted.

Jackson Lee is proof that anyone can be a politician, get elected and go to Washington. Intellect and common sense are not required.

One must remember that many of those serving in the U.S. Congress were “affirmative action” candidates and subsequently were graduated and given a degree accordingly.
No one has ever accused many of those graduates as being either bright nor intelligent.

Obviously no philosopher but he seems to be a pretty decent guy (when sober). I have heard him say that the race baters were pressuring him to make his beating a racial issue. He stunned them when he want out and made his famous statement.
