Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal has enjoyed endorsements from influential conservatives who want to see him on the ballot with Mitt Romney in November, but he won't divulge if he's being considered.
After a speech at the Conservative Political Action Conference in Chicago Friday, Jindal declined to answer when asked specifically if Romney's campaign is vetting him for the job.
"When it comes to the whole VP question, look, I've got the job that I want. I'm not going to speculate on what Gov. Romney's going to do," Jindal told reporters. "I'm not going to comment on his process the same way four years ago I didn't comment on any of the speculation back then. All I'm going to say is that I look forward to supporting whoever Governor Romney selects to be on his ticket."

The Pakistanis would be soiling their under-britches BIGTIME, LOL!
I know Bobby Jindal is considered a good conservative, but ... well, he’s just not an attractive person.
That shouldn’t matter, but ....
I’m still hoping for Paul Ryan.
I like jindal better than Rubio or christie.
Best governor in the country. Hes a helluva manager. Perfect #2 man if Romney really wants to get things done. The anti-Biden.
NBC?
I don’t think Jindal is qualified citizen-wise for VP.
Ditto that!
I've never fully been comfortable Rubio. He seems like he's more interested in being an “establishment type” than a conservative type. My fear is, this guy is learning the “ropes” from the likes of Mitch McConnell, Cornyn, and Grahamnesty. I get weary of him straddling the fence on too many issues.
Same here, since I really am disappointed with the choice of Romney, this would soften the GOP blow.
Louisiana’s solidly Republican so I don’t see it.
“Im still hoping for Paul Ryan.”
I second that.
Jindal might play along to sucker the Democrats into attacking him on the BC, then withdrawl with the hanging fast ball... What about Obama’s daddy?
Not.
To me, Gov. Palin came out of nowhere. I was blown away. The best move that the fossil made and she almost got him the win... which petrified him. I hope Romney chooses equally well.
Compared to Dick Cheney?
I’ll never forget his ‘Republican rebuttle’.. ARGH, IT WAS THE WORST COMMENTARY I HAVE EVER SEEN!
Jindal gets it done while the others are loud talkers.
Would feel way better w jindal than Rubio Christie.
I literally went down the street to gun shop and bought an AR 15 the mclame picked her. She was the ONLY reason I volunteered and spent 2k in expenses trying for mclame.
Damn I wish she ran.
“Paul Ryan.”
Jindal is great and would be a fantastic VP for sure.
But, seems like Rom will need someone who can get stuff done in DC. Ryan has the skills to help where Rom will it.
