While conservative activists have focused on the promotion of gay marriage by store chains J.C. Penny and Target, Macy's has gone under the culture radar in its partnership with the Obama-allied homosexual group, the Human Rights Campaign. The incoming president of HRC, Chad Griffin is an Obama bundler.
You won't see it in Macy's weekly sales circular, and you'd be hard pressed to find it on the front page of the Macy's website, but the Human Rights Camapign is loud and proud in declaring its partnership with Macy's urging customers to purchase "election year" Vote Equality t-shirts with the proceeds going to the Human Rights Camapaign.
Walking in to a local Macy's, one might see a rainbow-hued poster displayed at the entrance with the message "Celebrate Family + Friends, Love + Life, Equality + Respect, Pride + Joy."
Missing from the poster are the words Gay, Lesbian, Bi-sexual and Transgender. And the word Macy's. If one looks closely at the bottom of the poster displayed in the store a tiny Human Rights Campaign logo can be seen.
A click on Macy's Celebrate Diversity web page shows the non-descriptive Pride + Joy image which denotes (June 2012) "National Pride Month", along with other images of Macy's diversity month camapigns.
The (September 2012)Hispanic Heritage Month image reads, "Macy's Celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month." The (February 2012) Black History Month image reads, "Macy's Celebrates Black History Month." The (May 2012) Asian Pacific American Heritage Month reads, "Macy's Celebrates Asian Pacific American Heritage Month."
See the pattern? Macy's makes clear to all its customers when they walk in the store that they are proud to associate the Macy's name with Hispanics, Blacks and Asian Pacific Americans. But when it comes to Macy's alliance with the LGBT community and its radical agenda, Macy's goes on the down low with a nod and a wink. Why won't Macy's use a poster that says, "Macy's Celebrates Lesbian, Gay, Bi-Sexual and Transgender Month"? Macy's uses those word deep in its website, but not in public.
The Human Rights Campaign has a photo of a Macy's display promoting the "Vote Equality" campaign:
Again, no obvious mention of promoting homosexuality. Why won't Macy's and the Human Rights Campaign be forthright about their campaign?
According to the Human Rights Campaign, Macy's will feature the "Vote Equality" campaign in only six stores nationwide:
As we kick off LGBT Pride month today, HRC is proud to announce a growing partnership with Macys. The retailer will feature HRC merchandise in its Boston Downtown, Columbus Easton, Los Angeles Beverly Center, Macys Minneapolis, Saint Louis West County and San Francisco Union Square stores throughout the month of June.
Featured merchandise will include a Vote Equality t-shirt, which will be displayed prominently in stores during this election year. One hundred percent of proceeds from the partnership will go to HRCs fight for LGBT equality.
On its web site, if one looks hard enough, Macy's promotion of Gay Pride parades can be found.
Macy's also proclaims, "MACY'S IS PROUD TO CONTINUE TO SUPPORT THE HRC AND ALL ITS INITIATIVES"
Macy's also promotes its work with a suicide prevention group focused on LGBTQ youth.
One can also take the Pride Trivia quiz and maybe win a $100 Macy's gift card. (Who hand-dyed the first Gay Pride flag? What are the colors of the Gay Pride flag?).
The Obama administration is closely allied with the Human Rights Campaign. In addition to having an Obama bundler heading up the group, President Obama spoke at the group's 15th anniversary dinner last year.
Earlier this year, the Obama IRS was accused of leaking confidential tax documents from a traditional marriage group to the Human Rights Camapaign.
This is not the first year of the Macy's Pride + Joy campaign, but Macy's involvement in election year politics encouraging customers to vote for the radical homosexual, lesbian, bisexual and transgender agenda of Obama and the Democrats takes the effort to a new level.
3.5% my ass.
Good- Bye Macy’s.

Since Macy’s took over Marshall Field’s the quality of merchanidise has dropped.
There’s no “magic” in visiting the former Field’s on state St. or Water Tower Pl. in Chicago.
Bad move Macy’s you have no distinct market unlike Neimann Marcus. There are many alternatives for clothing.
The worship by businesses in America of minorities and specially protected groups as defined by Federal statute continues unabated. Business does this supposedly in the name of “market share” as no one wants to be seen as not being “all-inclusive” in their serving various “markets”. If you’ve noticed, most of the TV and print ads now have a distinctly “Latin” flavor to them and most of the models used are either Hispanic or Black. I feel like I’m living in a third world country these days. When opening a newspaper the first photo you see on the front page is usually of a black person or family or group. It’s a constant drumbeat and even includes such businesses as the pharmaceuticals and healthcare. The ads on TV for products are truly sickening in how the creators deliberately reverse statistical facts to mirror a wished-for world. They will show miscreants and criminals and evil-doers as white males and the upstanding successful and law abiding people as Black and Hispanic. This portrayal is the exact opposite of statistics which show that minorities commit the most crimes, whites commit very litle of it, yet the myth-making and the distortions in the media and in advertising continue. One partcularly eggregious ad I recall is for a home security system, where the burglar was a white male and the home being burgled was fantastically upscale and the occupants were a Black family. The get away with these perverse portrayals all of the time yet no one ever says anything about them.
“for 3.5% of the population?”
...and from what I’ve read, that number inflated by at least 1%. Just sayin.
Homosexuality is the new black
So... The sick perversion continues. How disgusting
What is so ironic is how sexist their departments are. I do appreciate the differences between the genders, but I’d like to not miss cell calls in my home. But I have to because most dresses and skirts have NO POCKETS for my phone! I do not carry an expensive bag from room to room in my own home! Why give only men pockets?
And for children, where are plain non ruffly things for girls, or bright fun colors for little boys? If gender doesn’t matter, why is there such a severe line between boy and girl clothes? Hmm? You can’t have it both ways. Macys has nothing for the tomboy or the effeminate boy to wear! They are anti pride! ;)
Anybody else notice that the largest letters are reserved for a phrase that traditionally is/was used by parents to describe their babies and children?
There's got to be a sicko reason or two or three behind this latest attempt at language reassignment surgery. At minimum, awe and wonder over the birth and development of their evil, perverted agenda.
I will be adding Macy’s to my personal boycott list, right behind Target, Home Depot, and JC Penny. This is an insult to everyone in a free nation and it causes problems and division. It is hard to see how this kind of “picking and choosing” of your customers can be good for business. I believe the people now at the top in these companies are most likely gay and, therefore, care for nothing else.

We have noticed this for a long time..When the enemies of freedom take over, they make distortion of the facts an art form. However, seeds of destruction are embedded in that deceit and those seeds will bear fruit one day.
Last Thanksgiving I turned to the Macy’s parade on TV. They were showing a group of cross dressers singing and dancing as part of the parade.
Said all I need to know about Macy’s.
The people running these stores appear to have demented and twisted minds. Men living together are friends. Women living together are friends. Basic biology says that they cannot be spouses. An apple cannot be an orange.
Only a man and a woman can achieve true sexual union. Male/male or female/female union cannot be achieved without sexual perversion that leads to both physical and mental health problems. Plus it can only add risk to the health and safety of the general population via AIDS and STDs.
Pretending that homosexual behavior is "normal" is either stupid or insane or both! It is wrong to covet what you cannot have; it is wrong to pretend that perverse and risky behavior is normal.
'Twould be funny were it not so true. Don't forget that one of the mantras of the 1960s radical left was "the personal is the political." Barry is a product of that generation, with his tiny mind shaped by members of the 1968 generation such as Bill Ayres and other radicals, and that is why he and the left are so aggressive in forcing the government and its policies into every aspect of our lives.
Great phrase!
One of the top people at Macy’s is a FLAMING GAY!! Probably more than one.
