I know a guy who voted for Obama because he said "you have to admit, we really need change." Now he claims he's the worst President ever and he can't wait to vote against him (although I guess his wife didn't let him sleep with her for a month after voting Obama)
I knew several senior citizens who voted for Obama out of anger at Bush who now hate Obama because of the ObamaCare thing.
Any of you know any repentant Obama voters? Anyone ever heard of a McCain voter now supporting Obama?
I visualize it as a three-space; everybody can be found at some point in a space where the dimensions are
1. Smart-stupid.
2. Informed-misinformed.
3. Honorable-evil.
(There are significant interdependencies in these characteristics; for instance if a person is sufficiently misinformed, he may ultimately be seduced into doing evil, and perhaps never be able to admit it to himself.)
People vary in their ability to evolve their positions in this space as they go through life. Hopefully there are enough of them that need to do so that can move in positive directions.
I did see “does this ass make my truck look bigger” sticker on a Chevy last week. Of course this is Tennessee!
Why is that a bad choice? Other than she would probably have been a little better off on a smaller bike as a starter, then move up when she had the confidence.
I liked my Sportster. Wish I'd kept it for short distance rides. For distance though, my Road Glide rocks.
